So, I wonder what it's like to go out and campaign against bullying knowing that you married the biggest bully in the yard?

My reference is looking at the rest of the media around the world, and seeing what message they are all saying. Fox and MNSBC are the most biased channels. CNN is only labeled as bias as it's got the gall to publish stories calling out dump and Fox. Which are largely backed up by reports from BBC and NPR. Normal NBC is exactly the same. dump declared open war against the media. So unless they are kissing is poop, like fox and the other really odd ball channels, he sees them as against him personally.

Too many world media researches and prints stories that CNN, NBC, and most of the media all agree with- which puts them far more center than that biased. They just look biased to dump and his stinking pile of crap that follow him because they are lost in the fox fellacio.

So, yes, bias is in the eye of the beholder. But there's also a measure of listening to all of the news the best you can to see which grains of facts are followed the most. Fox isn't one of them. CNN is far more likely to be.

I never said they were equally biased. ;) I simply used them as examples of bias (FTR, I only watch CNN, because that's the only news channel I get).

And Kepler provided a good explanation of my point.

It's the one way they can get value from their experiences, and it's satisfyingly subversive, like Hilly campaigning against sexual harassment last week. I wouldn't hold it against them.

Fox disseminates the fake stories by reporting "there is outrage tonight over a purported story that..." But they're a deliberate disease vector, that's just them playing footsie with the idea of attribution.

I don't go near InfoWars except as our local yokel repeats them, but I wouldn't be surprised if they use the same technique. They're only asking the question (TM).

I actually meant to type out a thoughtful reply last night, but was on a conference call arguing with a bunch of Indian colleagues who can't grasp basic concepts and the life was just sucked out of me.

AFAIK Billy isn't still banging the intern or harassing the help. My point was that Trump is STILL ENGAGED in the activity. At some point you have to give people credit of overcoming their mistakes. We should be worrying about the ones that are still continuing the behavior.

You're exactly right, and Melania has as much right to "worry about them" as anyone, if not more. Would you bar alcoholics from speaking up at AA meetings because they're "part of the problem"? Good for her.
Don't kid yourself about Bill changing his ways either - if he's not philandering anymore it's only because the pills will no longer do the job. Having faults doesn't diminish his worth or wisdom.
edit: I guess my main concern here is that I disapprove of attacking family members. It seems pretty harmless to me if Melania wants to campaign against bullying or Michelle wants to grow some veggies - why politicize it? In fact, why can't everyone support it? There's no real reason for a divide on this stuff other than family name.

I mean you can judge it on merit like anything else. With Michelle the attacks were mostly just thinly veiled racism/sexism. With Melania being criticized right now, you're right, it seems like the typical dumb liberal outlets (CNN/morning Joe) going after the low hanging fruit (her husband is a bully/hypocrisy) and not focusing on issues that are actually important.
