Re: POTUS 45.2 - Same arguments, different sides

Jeff Sessions during Yates' confirmation hearings:

This really can't be spread fast enough haha
So you are saying that none of this would have happened if Sessions would have been confirmed by now.

:D;)

That is just how I like it! I'm actually ever, ever so lucky that both myself and significant other have very good private employer health insurance.

Unless you are already retired, watch it like a hawk. My company has been starting to roll these back for employees.

Same here, and our industry has been BOOMING. My industry has seen a gradual but constant erosion of workers benefits and rights for more than a decade, for exactly the same reasons we have seen it throughout the economy. This is what life is like when republicans are in power. The rich get richer and everybody else can drop dead.

Dems have all boycotted votes on Mnunchin and Price. 1 D is required for a vote to take place. Sherrod Brown says they both need to "clarify what they lied about" to the committee before Ds will show up to vote.

So much for being the loyal opposition. If they didn't lie, how can they said they lied? Nice sound bite for the news shows, though.

Only one little flaw with your plan: The erosions are part of legislation and regulations enacted by Democrats...

This is something I constantly harp on the Millenials for allowing. The company will roll out soft benefits like flexible Fridays, work from home, flexible hours, provide smart phones, etc. placating the Millenials who love these kinds of things. But then they will rollback things like reducing our 401(k) matching, eliminate retiree medical benefits, greatly increase deductibles and premiums on health care and the Millenials barely bat an eye.

Studies have come out that say Millenials prefer the flexible workspace benefits over hard benefits like salary, 401(k), medical. I just don't get it.

How is this a thing? I assume this is just a committee rule, right? Mnuchin isn't the worst of the worst. They should be focusing on Price, DeVos (whose family may actually be evil), and Sessions. Save the big guns for the big targets. Mnuchin is bad, but he doesn't represent a mortal risk to the agency he's going to represent.

Millennials are "invincible" (or so they think), so they don't need health care. They also don't trust other people with their money, especially after the crash of 2008, or they think it's the vice of "gambling", so they don't want 401(k)s. They also live in the here and now, not in the future.

Why do we need to "save" anything? Just block everybody but Mattis and Kelly. The rest are f-ckwits, and the fact that there are worse f-ckwits doesn't make them any less f-ckwits.

Kill em all; God will know His own.
