POTUS 45.2 - Same arguments, different sides

Re: POTUS 45.2 - Same arguments, different sides

President Hillary called to say thanks for working together.

Tell her I said "you're welcome." The inability to sell a sh-t sandwhich is not a reflection on the sales force. And for that matter, we actually got her a 3M majority. Sorry her people couldn't count again.

So you were involved in rigging the polls and using the census to include criminal aliens?

Re: POTUS 45.2 - Same arguments, different sides

Not to mention the never ending boycotts of North Carolina over the stupid bathroom law. The law was a complete waste of time, but the reaction was ridiculous.

North Carolina deserved everything they got. The reaction was not ridiculous.

I got an idea for Trump, Republicans, etc. STOP TARGETING MINORITIES. Stop it. The Millenials don't like it and the people that raised them don't like it either.

I could care less about North Carolina and thought the law was very dumb. By keeping it in the news you helped Trump and other Republicans at election time.

Wow. So instead we should have been silent and let people rights be trampled on, because maybe (in your opinion) it would have helped in the election? That's sick.

Also, "I could care less" probably isn't what you were going for.

Here is a fact check on the Trump EO.

http://www.startribune.com/ap-fact-check-trump-claims-on-travel-ban-misleading-wrong/412245933/

It is very well done.

I read the entire opinion (and letters to the editor) section of the same paper today. Not once did anyone who took Trump's side mention any of these facts. While the other side mentioned them over and over again.

I hope the media is able to keep up with all the ****ing lies this buffoon is spewing. I believe he does it on purpose. He also (understood from his campaign I bet) tries to flood the news cycle with crap in hopes no one figures out the details. Here's hoping some of the public is smarter than that.

No, maybe reach out to people who are losing their rights? Offer to help them move to a place more welcoming? The never ending boycotts didn't make much difference as far as I can tell.

1. A Democrat was elected governor.
2. The State lost millions (possibly billions) of dollars in revenus.

I guess you're right. No difference.

Re: POTUS 45.2 - Same arguments, different sides

I think what Drew is saying is that in the 60s rather than busing people down south to help with the marches, we should have bused people up and have them live in the north because boycotts never work.

If the right army had won the Civil War we wouldn't have these problems.

We blew it again in November.

In all seriousness, it's the only solution. The rest of the US keeps advancing with the rest of the world, but the red states are anchored in the bedrock of stupidity. Instead of an earthquake let's make this an amicable parting. We do not belong together and never have. We are two different nations and increasingly two different peoples. Just do it.

How do we move North Dakota down there?

How do we move North Dakota down there?

I think NoDak joins Manitoba of whichever tundra prairie is above them. The partition should actually cut across Canada too. IL is sh-t outta luck, I guess. No big loss.

Or there's this, though I suggest Alaska and Quebec each go indy.

Mr. Trump’s firing of Sally Q. Yates as acting attorney general after she refused to defend his executive order drew praise rather than criticism.

“She was a political hack,” said Representative Louie Gohmert, Republican of Texas. “I thought it was terrific.”

Louie Gohmert can go **** himself.

Republicans all circling the wagons defending Trump. This is why they get elected.

Maybe, or maybe he is saying we need to fast track admittance of all refugees to give them a better place to live. When he said we should give them a country, he meant we should welcome them to ours.
