DOJ finds no evidence of wiretapping at Trump Tower. A list of those who honestly thought the finding would be otherwise is being prepared on the head of a pin.

Did I hear that the president donated $1 million of his own cash?

If so, good for him. That's actually the kind of leadership I expect from the White House

Sarah Fuhckabee said he was the other day, however when pressed if the money was coming from his personal account, a business account, or the Trump foundation she was unable to say. I'm guessing the Trump Foundation, which is probably the best use of its money to date.

I thought the Trump foundation was liquidated? Maybe not.
While the donation is laudable, as is his foregoing salary, it reminds me of nothing more than the Hugo Chavez strategy. When he was criticized for taking ownership of the private Venezuelan oil industry, he "donated" a few thousand gallons of fuel to people in NYC and was instantly transformed into a lefty idol. Meanwhile, he never gave back the actual means of production to their original owners and became obscenely wealthy off it.
Maybe I'm too cynical. Trump has made big one-time donations before, allegedly.

He SAYS he'll make donations, but pretty much doesn't follow through. He was called out on it once and pretty much forced to follow through.

Meanwhile I'm sure the residents of SE Texas will be pleased to know that “It’s been an incredible five days, six days. It seems like it’s been much longer than that, but actually it’s going so well that it’s going fast, in a certain sense.” And the people...“They were just happy. We saw a lot of happiness. Having your town destroyed is just such a wonderful thing, beautiful. Better when other people get to watch. I'm guessing this **** would lay down a big chunk of change on a natural disaster PPV.

He pledged to but I haven't seen anything to prove that he actually did it. Also as Geezer pooinyed out he can't do it from his foundation.

He's supposedly worth $10 billion. That percentage from someone of the median wealth in this country would amount to $4.99. Generous.

Plus, he only said he was gonna donate it. I won't hold my breath.

Yeah, there are many articles out there about some of his previous "pledges" that never came to fruition.

I was just thinking Harvey was about 20% as important as finding Obama's birth certificate, so the math checks out.

Also, he'll never pay that money.

The Donald hasn't donated to his own Foundation since 2008 or 2009. Or maybe he will donate some $40.00 MAGA caps.

The right will also say the DOJ concluded Clinton did not commit a chargeable offense with her emails, too, and we know how corrupt that decision was.
