Re: POTUS 45.18 - Who Run Derpertown? McMasterBlaster Run Derpertown.
Catching up=
I've been pretty clear that I want equal rights for all, and that includes people I don't agree with. In this case, the hate groups waving their flags and having parades. Until (and if) the laws change, I will vocally defend those rights.
Edit: To add, "take away rights from people they deem not worthy" does go more ways than one.
Thank you so much for illustrating my point. Everyone certainly has a different level of what they deem as "decent".
People like you who say that you want equal rights, but then qualify that drive me crazy.
Well, except when it's OUTSIDE of the country, then it's ok to kill people who are a threat.
Do you not see that hypocrisy?
The side is for equal rights for all instances or not. You choose. It's not about choosing violence or not- so stop framing it like that- that's 100% not what I said.
The "free speech" you speak of does have consequences. You can't speech to incite violence and pretend that you are in the right when the intended violence starts. That's weaker than weak.
Say want you want.
The only thing is that the GOVERNMENT can't stop you.
Was following this whole 'debate'. In the past I think people had social pressure to behave in a responsible manner and follow what was socially acceptable. Now we have people who are so intent on using asserting their rights they forget they should be used responsibly. I think Hoven is right. You can abhor what is being said but the person has a right to say it. That doesn't mean it is morally or ethically right or that it is responsible to say it.
Meh, it's pretty obvious what is meant to anyone who has half a brain. I guess it's possible people don't know about the electric chair but that seems like concern trolling. The only people getting offended by this are the usual suspects who are pout-raging.
I come from a non-capital punishment state. This went over my head. And yes I am old enough to remember the Electric chair.
It's hard from thousands of miles away to understand exactly what was going on in Arizona. I think it's unfair to criticize people who voted for Arpaio. There could have been a lot of people who disliked him but voted for him anyway because they thought he was making a difference on illegal immigration.
Just a little visit to google would cure you of this misconception. allsides.com has articles from all diff biases.
Were any US citizens illegally detained? I still haven't gotten a clear answer on that. I support all US citizens' rights.
I don't get why you keep asking this question. It has no bearing on what happened. NPR had a great show on this AM and what the usual basis for pardon is.
August employment numbers failed to me expectations and the unemployment rate ticked upward. Who will "Complain, blame, but never explain" Trump attack on Twitter?
- Obama
- Democrats
- Fake News
- Dept. of Labor holdovers
- John Accosta
- Jeff Flake
- So-called judges
- Antifa
You forgot the hurricane. It doesn't have any bearing at all but the faithful followers won't figure that out.
Yup. There is an unquestionable benefit to having the best and brightest from other countries, but I'm not sure how many of those are in this group. A problem for the US is it doesn't have the same allure to foreigners it did say 20 years ago.
WHich is why so many companies are complaining now that they have the people hired but can't get the visas thru.
When Kelly is fired this guy is next in line. Then Trump can talk about how he isnt racist because he has a Darky on his staff. (see also: isnt sexist cause of Huckabee Sanders and Conway)
Women have come a long way when they can have 2 of their kind, dumber than a box of hammers, in public positions. Not only competent but completely incompetent women get to participate. Just like men.
You are correct. I barely ever even have a drink. I like to keep things interesting here! Or at least make an attempt to. I think I'm one of the only ones who isn't a dyed in the wool partisan.
Could you put a little more thought into your attempts to stimulate debate rather than eyerolling?
Sure, as long as you meet the requirements:
1. Own at least 2 rifles or shotguns, and 3 handguns
2. Have at least one America-themed tattoo
3. Have no more than 75% of your teeth
4. Have a hunting shack up in the mountains somewhere, preferably with no running water or electricity
Don't you have to like moose or deer or something?
