This whole post is great. I agree with you. Trump himself seems to be an imbecile. He isn't orchestrating any sort of deep treasonous plot because he's too dumb to tie his own shoes. But perhaps in part because Trump is so inept and infantile he exercises no control over his organization which means any corruption runs wild inside it. Add to this that Trump has no apparent morality, let alone a moral compass, and it's entirely possible he "knows" about illegal stuff going on in his organization and simply doesn't realize or care that it's illegal.

This is like a Skinner box experiment in raising a human being with absolutely no accountability. He has lived for 70 years with no feedback mechanism to check any whim. As a result, he's a delusional overgrown infant.

Rather than imprison him we should just run scientific experiments on him. We could learn a lot about how character develops by looking at a control case with literally none.

I still think he's laundering Russian mob money. But is that his intention, did he say, "I'm going to launder money for the mob?" No. "But these nice Russian guys came along and said they'd give me all the money I could ever ask for to fund my projects. Who could say no?"

Kinda like how he let the Russian photographer and all his equipment into the Oval Office. He's a nice guy, the dude's official photographer, no publicity is bad publicity. Sure, come on in, take all the shots you want. Yopu think there may have been listening devices in that equipment, or perhaps they even succeeded in bugging the Oval Office? That never occurred to him.

He's just that friggin' oblivious.

My concerns come down to this: I don't find this a ridiculous theory, and that is a real problem.

I work with about 40 people from group 1.

I've never met anyone from group 2, thankfully, and I hope nobody in it is over the age of 12.

Think of long term grad students who can't finish and don't have the imagination to change plans, working half time as a research assistant in CS or engineering... by day they're quiet and mild-mannered but when they let their hair down they're destroying women online and electing D Trump.

What's interesting to me is that IQ doesn't matter, idealogically. The ones that pin their minds to "structure" are conservative and the ones that rely on imagination are liberal. Most of us (who are sane) use both skill sets.

He's a control freak but he's also clueless. I have no doubt he doesn't understand the first thing about his own businesses. That doesn't stop him from swinging his tiny dick all over the building site or the boardroom, but I'll bet he couldn't pass a basic competency exam in either building or real estate finance.
