The actual White House Correspondents' Dinner roast with Hasan Minhaj was actually decently funny. A few groans throughout the room, but those have always happened. Some very well played one-liners from him too.
Now to watch Samatha Bee's Not the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

(defending it as "really, there's no other word for her") Elsewhere, Coulter was called a racist c*** and hatchet-faced b**** to much delight. The Huff Post ran a piece on Coulter called "B**** is too nice of word for you." Eminem Raps about sexually assaulting Coulter and popular Indy DJ Andrew Bayer posts "Michelle Bachman is a HUGE C***!" That's 10 seconds of google. I'm thinking I'm not even touching the surface as I'm pretty sure if you venture into the blogosphere it's rampant.

And he's a major voice in Trump's foreign policy and understanding of terrorism. It would be funny if it wasn't, you know, terrifying.

They have libeled one of Bonni's work friends, a DHS attorney who does community engagement and tries to keep communication with Muslim communities healthy and open, so they will be a partner in counter-terrorism rather than being driven to fear for their rights and personal liberty. He's a good guy, doing the right thing and eschewing the opportunity to make a fortune in the private sector. And for that he is demonized by Gorka's crackpots in the type of paranoid attack you read on Flag's posts.

And that is kinda what I was trying to point out to DX...if she was Lenny Warren the negatives about her (mainly that she is a Firebrand) would be a massive positive. All other stuff they say about her is BS. Hell DX said she has never done anything...what had Obama done? Few years in the State Leg and one term as a Senator where he helped pass nothing of value. He was an academic and a community organizer. (sound familiar) He could give a speech though.
Now...Hillary would lose anyways because there is no name more divisive than Clinton outside of Bush. I said that in '08 when she ran and I said it up until she got the nomination. Half the country has hated her and her husband since the 1990s and that fire has been stoked as she has positioned herself for this run over the years. If she was Hank Clinton the Clinton part would still have killed her. But no matter who the woman is there will be push back and it will be significant. The backlash that resulted AFTER Obama took office (the normalization of the Far Right) would be just as intense as [insert woman here] got closer and closer to the nom. Every time she spoke passionately they would be called a "B" or a "C" (much like some called Obama uppity) and unless she served in the military they would definitely downplay how a female could lead such a group of macho men.
