It is MA that they are saying don't cross the border. You can shop for groceries. She is just living her life- going where ever the hell she wants because she should be able to do [X]. This is just the tip of the iceberg. She bought a new laptop because she wanted one. Decided she didn't like it after they configured it for her. She returned it. Now she is on the second one. The old one was fine. Now she has NO laptop or access to email and she didn't tell anyone. She eventually fessed up to lil. SHe had been calling bro les and he had told her flat out do not buy a new one. It will be a c f. It is.

And if anyone likes the Nutcracker or has little kids- this is one of the best virtual ones I have seen- they have the players in the orchestra in a frame around the dancers. Soo cool!

Good morning Lodge. Got a text and email last night that my final piece of furniture is scheduled to be delivered on Thursday morning. Out of the blue. When I took delivery of my new furniture, the couch I asked for wouldn’t fit in the elevator. I sent it back, ordered the love seat. I was told that it was back ordered till mid-March. Which is fine, since it’s just me. I don’t need it for company or anything. Then I got a text a couple days ago from my sales person that said it was coming mid-February. I wasn’t sure if the text I got was valid, but I called and it is.

Now I need to bring my tape measure to the elevator just to confirm they can get it in the elevator. Because it would really suck if that piece can’t fit either.
 
6-8" of snow expected tomorrow, then a high of 7(ish) on Thu. Then Fri pretends the previous days never happened. Welcome to MN.
 
SNOWPOCALYPSE!

Actually, the snow isn't bad. Brutal temperature drop since 9am this morning (35 degree difference, and the temp is STILL dropping). Wind is equally vicious, gusting up to almost 50mph. Almost zero visibility in the metro. About 90 minutes north, there IS no visibility. Have a friend that had to pull off the highway (and will stay the night in Hinckley which is halfway between MSP and Duluth) because of that. Supposed to get about 6-8 inches when all is said and done.

The wind right now is sustaining 27MPH and will gust up to 50MPH. Sideways snow isn't my favorite, but it's better than sleet.

This is true. So, left work at 3pm. Realized forgot my phone at work at 4:30. I foolishly went back out to get it. 7 minute commute (normally), was a 70 minute commute, no traffic, not kidding.
 
Got my love seat delivered this morning. Fit in the elevator with no problem! Now I have a halfway decent living room. Quick delivery, nice and early. Found out that The Godfather and Godfather Part 2 are on all day today, so now my day is planned. One more gift to wrap - the personalized towels I ordered. And I got an email from USPS that the original order is also delivering today. It’s a Christmas miracle! Or, a Festivus miracle at the very least.
 
It's f*ing cold out. Actually had to bust out my winter jacket (my dad's Vietnam War-era Air Force Parka, that he wore in AK). Yep, it lives, although it's pretty beat up. Still is warm, though.
