Evening, Lodge. Crappy work week, crappy day at work. Unemployment is rampant of course, yet we are begging for workers. Ugh.

But, the new Mando ep and some good beer are helping ease the pain. ;)

My company hired a bunch of temps at "surge pricing". We have 10 open positions still. Someday, my position will be backfilled, or so I hope.

Good morning Lodge.

IIRC, I get $300 for a referral that stays 90 days, and the worker him/herself gets $600 for staying 90 days. There is no limit. As a nationwide company, my branch has been taking orders from other branches when we can. In other words, we'll just hire above our normal capacity to ease the national demand for our products.

I'm curious as to how two different local TV stations can have such a huge difference in projected snowfall totals. One of them increased projected snow totals by 100%, saying we're getting 12-18" here. Another station is still saying 4-8" which they were saying yesterday afternoon.

There is a fly caught between the window and screen and it's driving me a little nuts as my desk is up against the window so I'm staring at it. The screen is a little ripped, so that's how it got in. Not sure why it can't find its way out!

I just watched and saw 10-15. Not in the mood.

Good Evening Lodge!
