I am both thankful for an uneventful day at work, and a little annoyed. My job is to fix broken tech, but it's my day to watch my group's email inbox and then parse out the work as needed. Normally, Black Friday is a slow day, but the DJIA broke 30k on Tuesday which means that today should be pretty busy. See, normally when the DJIA hits new records it's accompanied by a huge rush of people putting up buy and sell trades. Oddly enough, our applications are handling the increased volumes without worry so far. Very strange.
All of that leads to me reading the science thread on page 2, and seeing the link to the neutrino article, which then had me thinking of Einstein, and then my German lessons from high school - how by my sophomore year I recall waking up from dreams I had in German. That then the notion hit me that I've forgotten most of what I learned, which in turn pressed upon me how long it's been since I was in high school.
"I'm getting too old for this ****."
