If I was a parent of one of those kids I would be sh1tting a brick at the prospect of my kid traveling there. Holy crud. This is way stupid. Another team bites the dust out here. They are falling like dominoes

I don't understand why, college kids are usually so careful in how they go about their day-to-day lives.
 
Well, we didn’t get the house. Sounds like it went over asking by 40k. Disappointed, sure. But there’s no way we were going there. I wouldn’t be surprised if the offer falls apart because the bank won’t appraise it that high.

Oh well. Time to focus on getting stuff ready to move to the rental place it seems. Really didn’t want to move twice, but here we are.

Total bummer. Markets are bonkers these days. Keep trying! It took me a solid 2 1/2 - 3 months before I had an offer accepted. Most of the time a house would be great but we just... knew it would end up selling for way over where we wanted to be. We even changed our search area about 30 miles to another city just to find the right situation. There just isn't much stock available this year.

I had to do the double-move last year. That wasn't my favorite thing to do. After selling our house in Farmington, moved in with the in-laws for 8 weeks until we were finally able to close on the current house. That time living with the in-laws was the longest 6 months of my life.

Oh good lord living with my in laws would be hell. I’d still do it if it were a good option, though. Everyone in our family is high risk for this virus so nope no good. Kid still goes to daycare so he blows up the bubble.
 
EXCELLENT! Northeastern cancels the series this weekend because they are crawling with disease and who does our AD get to fill in for them? Providence College. THe team that has already been shut down 3 times because they don't believe they need to be careful- there have been zero consequences to their program and the league doesn't require they wear masks in games. They might as well invite Typhoid Mary to the rink. I am so angry I could vomit.

Are you saying that the 6 Ivies, Union, and RPI did the correct thing? :=)
