Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge #165: Spring Has Sprung!

Yes, that's who we're chasing. He even bought an Extra subscription because of all the neg reps he'd been receiving from Rimbaud. :D
Funny, all my reps righ now are from RFAlph, Not RFAlph or a permutation of the same :p

Picked a piece of trash off of my desk... It's a ticket stub... From last year's trip to Bridgeport for the regionals... Need to clean this desk
Ack!! Don't throw that away. Don't do anything to change the Mojo!!

Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge #165: Spring Has Sprung!

Off to see a Denver-Marquette lacrosse game. Over & out.
So you're a lacrosstitute! I never woulda guessed.

I just found out I work Thursday afternoon & night - bummer. But there's a TV there that gets ESPN2, so at least I can watch (some of) the semifinals.

Happy St. Pauli Dark-enhanced Friday to everyone!

goldy and mook, I was glad to see your appreciation for the nursing profession. It's so noble, there oughtta be a Every Lady Dresses As A Nurse Day. Like the Blink182 album. That'd be nice.

Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge #165: Spring Has Sprung!

Don't call him "sir," he works for a living.
Wrong again. I am between careers. (Read: unemployed. Why do you think I have so much time to waste on here?)

Now get off the lawn and stay off! Happy?

Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge #165: Spring Has Sprung!

if they are ON your lawn, it's "get off".
once you chase them away, it's "stay off"
In regards to your rep: YOU have been referring to yourself as the mook here during your PoTY campaign. Did you notice my PoTY reference below, btw? Classy, huh?

Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge #165: Spring Has Sprung!

I've been trying to make it as long as possible, trying to show these clowns with a bunch of quotes and myriad other crap how stupid it looks and how big a pain in the a55 it is. There actually is a size limit to one's sig - who knew? - and I've bumped up against it. Still trying to make it longer, maybe using larger fonts and multiple lines. I can't tell if my target audience gets it though.

I did that for a while. Then Quiz yelled at me to shorten it up, and then board took it away, telling me I was "in bad taste". Then you ****ers got drunk and I built a new one.

Lovely day at the office. Copier broke early this afternoon, probably fatally, and then the copy repair imbecile almost got a shovel from my boss. I did not need this crap 10 days from tax day, on a Friday afternoon, no less.

mookie just calls himself mookie. not 'the mook' or 'da mook'. just mookie. mookie this, and mookie that. mookie did this and he thinks this. mookie went. mookie.

mook --- keee :D

Good evening Lodge.

I have no plans this weekend and this will be the first time since January that I have been home on a weekend.

I think I need a beverage on the rocks.................but what flavor should it be?

Alcohol-flavored.

Have fun. I picked Tanguray and Tonic with lime for my flavor - and with ice. I had to drive home from St. Paul at 4:30 today...in the snow...that traffic blows...who the * schedules a meeting for 3-4:30 on a Friday in St. Paul?

Something from an oak barrel. And skip the ice. :)

Knob Creek on the rocks is the flavor this evening.

For those of you keeping score from home.........Minnesota's first ever whiskey distillery opened up in 320ville back in July. The other day I was visiting the distillery on business. There was a guy there helping them do some stuff..............Greg Davis, Master Distiller from Maker's Mark. I know I was impressed.

In 5-7 years their product should be top shelf stuff. They currently sell a product just for shiats and giggles and to try and make a little profit. White Water Whiskey. It's moonshine and it's nasty. Their first real whiskey won't be ready until 7/14.

Edit. I also learned that back in the prohibition days, Stearns County was a hotbed for moonshine making. That area produced more illegal beverages than anywhere else in the country. In fact, Stearns County had the highest concentration of law enforcement agents than anywhere else in the country. That explains so much....................;)

That explains a lot... Being a Kandiyohi County guy in the summers, I totally get what you're saying:p

Wife's grandfather has a still on da farm near New Munich. For medicinal purposes, or course.

Guess he was doing some work on the barn one day and asked a grandkid to fetch his water bucket. Kid ran to get it and thought he'd be a nice kid and refill it with fresh water. Gramps take sip, spits it out, "What the hell is this ****?" :D

Making the drive to Milwaukee in the morning with bbdl and State of Hockey tomorrow morning for Shirtless' Bachelor party. Tailgating, baseball and drinking in Milwaukee. Cannot wait. It will be a great time.

Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge #165: Spring Has Sprung!

Goldy: that was Salut? I had long forgotten the name. :o

Good steak. The atmosphere was a little louder than I thought it would be, hoped for more quiet to easily have a convo. But I liked the place.

Smart people, you know, those who don't live in Hoyti-Toyti Gated Community Land. ;)
