That's the only one of his I've heard. I downloaded it last night. And in other news, my pre-ordered Church Live album, "Caught in the Act" should be arriving within the next week or 2.

I have never ever never ever never ever never ever ever liked or listened to country music. However, I stumbled across the tune Springsteen by Church. It has grown on me as that melody brings back a memory ;). I also per-ordered Church live via iTunes. I reckon I best skedaddle before I get a hankerin’ for boots, Wranglers, a belt buckle and the urge to kiss my sister. :p

Don't feel weird. bbdl told me I'd eventually like "Drink In My Hand" by Church, due to the OT/work-themed lyrics. Lo and behold....yeah. Roots are still in good ol' rock'n'roll and punk, but there are a couple new school honkytonk songs I like. Guilty pleasures, I guess.

End of days.............

Naw. Gimme a good riff/power chord, and some attitude. Always 'Tang, Never Twang.

I should make that a marketable phrase....:)

Nothing will put twang back into the hole it crawled from like a little Metallica. :)

Why stop there? Go GWAR. THAT will well...cleanse the soul in a certain sense. :D

Even blues rock like Thorogood, or Clapton....

GWAR rules. If you ever have the chance to see them live, do it. Seriously. Just go.

GWAR? I had to look them up. Don't be playing that shiat backwards.......you'll end up living in a van down by the river in St. Cloud. :D

No. I know what their shows entail. And have had close friends tell me about said shows. No. But their music rocks.

Either way, I live by "if it's too loud, you're too old."

really bored here. first night trying to be out since I broke up with the girlfriend, and I'm up in the GR area. And nobody was free to do anything tonight. Old tailgating buddy is getting hitched tomorrow, and I was wanting a little night out away from the house tonight. But nobody was free to do anything tonight. All my rowdy old friends are settling down. :o Oh well, things should pick up tomorrow tomorrow. get shibby faced and see where the night takes me.

Want to pick it up a notch? Get some Jack Daniels, the latest GWAR cd and a bag of Cheetos. ;)

Wait until you see GWAR's videos from "America Must Be Destroyed." It scarred me for life. That sh* was disturbing.

What. The. Eff.

Not sure what's worse. That or Boxcar Willie.

You don't want to know about their live shows. There's a reason I don't/won't go to them. And I'm a marginal fan.

The funny thing is, they are a joke band. They flat out admit it. They have little (actual) musical talent. They are out for shock, which sells. Period. It's like KISS, without the ego. ;)
