Regarding your tag, shouldn't there be something in there about you having been named Grand Exalted Diplomatic Consul to the Guatalmalonians? Possibly with your family's coat-of-arms or national flag or sumpin'.

So Comcrap tweeted me asking if my dvr issue had been resolved. I responded that it had not. In the midst of the tweeting I got a tweet from DirecTV asking if my issues have been resolved and that they have a better solution. Hee!! I replied that I was impressed that they picked up on that but that I knew of people who had more weather-related issues with dishes than I was having with Comcast. I love that they offered to help though.

For what its worth, I think I only had 1 weather related issue with my Dish, that was one time with really heavy rain. At a previous house, we had many problems with weather, but I suspect that the dish wasn't aligned properly now. Despite that, I still switched away from Dish because they couldn't provide me with the channels that I wanted, and made me go to Amazon to pay extra for Breaking Bad, which I should have been able to watch on my TV. They didn't deserve my business anymore, and I told them that repeatedly.

With that said, Comcast has been crap too. But that is just because Comcast sucks. There are no specific examples I have, but they just suck. :p

Comcast called me 2 days ago, to try to get me to buy internet from them. I told the guy right away that I wasn't interested. I heard him say "but, sir...." I set my phone on the desk, didn't hang up. I figured I'd waste his time a little, since he wasted mine. ****ing Comcast.

I've only had one weather issue with DirectTV and that was heavy snow piling into the dish. Then again, my neighborhood sucks and my power goes out in most big storms, so I figure if I'm going to be without power, I don't need tv.

Ummm, you've been there! :rolleyes: That's where we took Scarlet when she was out for the F4. I agree that the fancier foods are overpriced and not that great. Kinda overpriced in general, but certainly not bad. I actually prefer the Edina Grill next door.

Just put in an order for 1000 9mm target rounds. I am down to 30 at home, and they aren't in stock anywhere. I figure this way, when they get some in stock they'll be shipped right to me, and I don't have to go to a store and try to track them down. All I want to do is some target shooting!!!!! Ugh.
