Mmmmm, coffee. Needed that.

So, after trying to watch a recorded show on my brand new X1 dvr box from Cast, the one that has been giving me problems all week, the show froze. Just....stopped. Couldn't resume, couldn't get out of it. Tried to exit out to go watch live TV, nothing. Called Comcrap at 11pm. Oohhhhh, we're having nationwide outages with that dvr box. But our technicians are working trying to resolve the problem! Great. BUT I CAN'T WATCH TV!!! Jeez. I am so upset about this. Thank GOD I kept my TiVo on the other TV. I want to call and double check that I don't have a contract because I am seriously looking into Verizon Fios right about now.

Hey Goldy, have you eaten at Salut, over in your neck of the woods? To celebrate a year together, the girlfriend and I are going out for dinner tonight, this is the place she chose. By the looks of it online, it seems pretty nice.

goldy is your local expert, but I've braved the gold-clad sidewalks of Edina to eat there four times. The fancier stuff -- Seafood Lasagna, Squash Ravioli, etc -- not so good. The straightforward stuff -- martini, oysters, steak -- really good. Sounds like your kind of place!

I don't think I'll be getting the fancier stuff, though, I probably won't go with a steak either. I am actually thinking we may go the Tapas route.

Also, do I have to spread more between neg reps than positive reps? I negged tipsy a few days ago, and still can't neg him again, yet, it seems like I'm spreading greens to the same posters I started spreading to right after I negged him. I'm a bit confused.

For those country fans out there....I know there are a couple of you. Have you heard the new song "Redneck Crazy" by Tyler Farr? I heard it last week on XM, and yesterday they played it on K102. It is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

I don't recall that question having come up before, but my guess is that they are all counted together.

Lucky me I get to make a few trips to Mass. and back over the next few days. Cue anybody who wants a quote for their own sig line: I'll be driving the short bus to Logan about 2:00 tonight, taking a bunch of guys from church who are headed to Guatemala on a mission trip. When I get home I'll tag the wife (did you get that one, too?), she'll get out of bed, and I'll hop in for a nap. Back to Boston in the evening for a wine party and overnight.

That's the only one of his I've heard. I downloaded it last night. And in other news, my pre-ordered Church Live album, "Caught in the Act" should be arriving within the next week or 2.

That'll be a good one. I'm definitely going to see Church when he comes back to MN. That was such an awesome time.
