Agreed. Thrilling to watch and the Lakers have to be shaking their heads, much like our OT win at their place on Nov. 13th. Glad to catch the game online but wish you could rewind the video as it plays or that they showed replays. Does Plattsburgh provide video recaps of home games anywhere? Are there any archives?

BTW...BTW> What is wrong with the scoreboard this time ??...noticed they used the auxiliary last night and are using it again this afternoon for the women's game.

It must be something with the "Scoreboard Computer", as obviously the video controller for the video inputs to the monitors themselves is fine. It appeared to be working - at least was showing the team names up to about 30 minutes before yesterday's game.

Alright, maybe this gets some chatter going...

Here is my guess at the first published rankings for the EAST region (based on where things stand as of today). I created a little data chart to guide me, but apparently I'm not bright enough to figure out how to insert it in the post without all the info getting screwed up. I feel pretty good about my guess on which seven teams get ranked, I'm less confident I've got the order correct.

1. Hobart
2. Williams
3. Plattsburgh
4. Trinity
5. Geneseo
6. Babson
7. UMass Boston

Remember there will be 10 eastern and 5 western teams this year.

Neumann
Plymouth St

In all seriousness, this years Eastern Committee seems pretty hockey centric with the exception of the SUNYAC Commissioner Di Camillo who comes in from the hockey hotbed of the PacWest Conference. Other than that everyone is pretty hockey knowledgeable either coach or Athletic Department with hockey background.

How did THAT happen? And what if - a very big IF - an certain unranked team rises from the ashes of average to win its conference tourney? Forrest Fire!!!

Can't even say I should have remembered!! I didn't realize they were increasing the # of ranked teams this year until this morning when I saw your note and then read article on the "other' site (which went up after I posted). I must have missed this when it was announced previously. Why I had it in my mind that they ranked seven teams last year (instead of eight) I have no idea. Anyway, I'm guessing 8-10 will come in as follows....

8. Plymouth St
9. Norwich
10. Neumann

Curious if anyone has any insight over why they are also downgrading L25 to secondary criteria?

Sorry, I was using the word remember as a reminder....as I needed reminding as well when I read the article. I was just trying to bring it to the attention of all. I am no expert...just wanted you to have a chance to finish your ranking guess.

Every game is huge, but Plattsburgh will need a sweep next weekend to stay a float for the top few spots. That Williams loss hurts for a RNK OPP and Common Opponent with Hobart as well as H2H with Williams itself. Ranking Buff State will be a help but not sure they would stay in putting a lot of pressure on beating Geneseo and hopefully again in the playoffs. While just 3 loses this year, whom they are to is huge. If Hobart wins out, I can see them with the #1E seed.


Im sure Prez can't share light but it will be interesting to see what they weight the most this year.

Some of hose thoughts are probably right on....But...Hobart winning out will not be an easy task...they have two at the amusement park and an upset minded Elmira coming in to finish the regular season ! I also do not see where Hobart played Williams.

No worries - I was just teasing myself. You gave me too much credit by saying "remember"....I never knew they changed the # of teams until you told me! :o
