Funny you guys mention the game at the Massena Arena for next weekend. I was informed that there are not many tickets left, if any for that matter, for your game on Nov.3rd. I guess the locals in Massena have been grabbing them pretty quickly this past week.

Plattsburgh is putting together a student bus for the Potsdam game. anyone know where to contact about tickets?

I have confirmed with Jennifer Sullivan at Potsdam's Athletic Department that 'tickets are not pre-sold, the price is $4.00 for adults at the door, the seating capacity in Massena is larger than SUNY Potsdam and they are confident that none of their games will sell out.' So I am heading up - though I do expect Romney like lines.

Just read on Potsdam site that they are sending up 3 buses to Massena. Called Massena Arena and they said capacity is 2600. Sooooo, that is all I know now.

Just wanted to mention that I'm loving the new video feed. Decent quality (it's now running with multiple camera angles!), for sure. Not enamored with the announcer, but at the very least I'm able to sync it with Ducky on WIRY :)

It was good to see Plattsburgh finally hit pay dirt in the third after a couple periods' worth of frustration. Congrats to Beadow on his first Cardinal goal (on a beautiful play, no less)!

So was Plattsburgh firing on all cylinders or was Morrisville not on their game tonight?

It was 1-1 going into the 3rd. I didn't see the 3rd period (Siena game), but on WIRY it just basically sounded like the Cards got their stuff together in the 3rd.

Pretty much. Plattsburgh dominated possession throughout the game, but didn't start converting on their best chances in front of the net until the third. Their first couple of goals were kinda shaky on Rasmussen's part, but they eventually started actually shooting the puck on goal on good looks down low, and that was that. It also helped that their go-to "run the opponent ragged and then open it up once they're gassed" strategy worked like a charm. Morrisville was dead on their skates down the stretch.

Fine - EXCEPT - the word "PERIOD" has something that appears to be a yellow electronic watermark under it - I can't tell what it says, but it looks like 4 lower case characters. :mad: (they do not appear when video is shown, only when displaying the scoreboard). The display itself is a dot matrix led video wall - typical panel cost as $500-$1000 a square yard.

YES. The sound levels were off all evening - too quiet for the video board, loud to the point of becoming unintelligible for the music. Plus they kept the pep band's mic open for long stretches while they weren't playing, which caused a constant hiss. The video boards themselves are really cool, though. The little clips of a player that pop up when he does something good are pretty neat.

I thought it was apretty good first "real" game for the Cards. Morrisville played it tough on D. for awhile but couldn't hold them down forever. I know it is early, but there are some real skilled new guys out there who should see alot of ice time this year. Also, like the duo of A.J. and Nick who look even better this year. Liked what I saw. Scoreboards are great!!!! Pep band and students made for a nice atmosphere also. Seems to be alot more interest this year by the students.

It's going to be tough for Bob to find 5 or 6 guys to take out of that lineup he put on the ice Friday vs. Morrisville. After some first game jitters, they completly dominated play in all phases. Add in Puglisi (ill) and Mooney (2 game suspension) and the cards are very, very deep. I only hope our top goalie is "ready to play" pretty soon. I liked what I saw to say the least.
