So you think there is something wrong with girls who have some meat on their bones  :p

Clearly you haven't been on campus this week.... your statement , to quote the movie Independence Day, is "not entirely accurate".

No plausible deniability here, I've been to the bookstore & Tim Hortons - I seen some slim girls, but quite a few with some meat on their bones that looked good!

I know there was a reason I keep the sound off

I almost never have the sound on on my computer. I hate having some random sound coming up when I accidentally click on a link that I think is text, but turns out to be video. I only want to listen to audio when I want to listen to audio.

I un-mute the sound on my computer when I bring up the Beanpot Trot video :p

Tentative planning is to be in Plattsburgh for the Williams game on 1/12/13. Where is a good place to
(a) get a nice pregame meal
(b) a nice place to sleep that won't break the budget

tickets will or will not be a problem?

Thanks!

(a) Well, I'll lead off with the requisite "Anthony's is excellent, but expensive" recommendation. There's a new place called Latitude 44 that everyone seems to think is phenomenal, though I haven't gotten there myself. Livingood's is solid, and has some exotic stuff on tap. Arnie's and Mickey's are fine for Italian. Or if you want to go the franchise route, there's an Applebee's, a Ground Round, a 99, a Texas Roadhouse, etc.

(b) There are an unusually large number of hotels just outside of the city, thanks to Canadian tourism. The Hampton Inn is the newest, but they all offer similar stuff unless you get way low-end (America's Best Value Inn). The Comfort Inn has an attached sports bar/brew pub, but be aware that they're much better at the sports part than the beer part. I'd just go with whatever's cheap that weekend.

Tickets won't be a problem. Should be a fun game!

Can I suggest to local Plattsburgh residents(really to anyone), if you have a spare room in your home you consider signing up with airbnb.com . I'll be taking a trip throughout the SUNYAC for 3 weeks, starting with Geneseo/Brockport, then Primelink followed by Cortland/Oswego and finishing up in Plattsburgh vs. Norwich on 12/7. I'll be staying at airbnb homes whenever possible. Cheaper than hotels, get a chance to deal with a local who knows the area. We've been an airbnb host for over a year and we've hosted folks visiting San Diego from all over the world. Fun experience, nice extra income. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. Right now there's only one place available in the Plattsburgh area...quite a few in Burlinton.

a) The Pepper in downtown is my favorite non-franchise place in Plattsburgh. Livingoods is way overpriced for the quality and think way too much of themselves.

b) The Super 8 in nearby Cumberland Head is comfortable for the price.

me too. the xl center (formerly the Hartford Civic Center) is minutes from my office and going to a game wearing a Cards jersey would be pretty funny (and cause Hince to do a double take no doubt).
