We "owned" the Podium in Vancouver. Won the medal count by 7 I believe, with 11 more than Canada.
I'm pretty sure that canuckistan didn't own the podium.

That's not the point, it's the conflict of interest aspect. Obviously the IOC figured that since the game is loaded with NHL guys that putting two NHL officials on the game was OK.
To the not-so casual observer it seems highly suspect. For what it's worth, I'm not a fan of the IIHF standards on interference and obstruction but that's neither here nor there. Both of these teams are happy to play it dirtier.
