Kelli Stack with the 8th US goal. 8-1 USA.

Totally robbed that goal from Jinelle Zaugg-Siergiej too. Oh well.

Monique Lamoureux scores again to make it 9-1 USA.

And I thought the Swedes were going to make a game of it when it was 4-1.

OK, so I have to ask, because I honestly don't get it: where does all the animosity people seem to have towards Canada come from?

Why do people from Minnesota not like Wisconsin? Because they're there.

I'd imagine the same thing applies to Canada. Well, that and Celine Dion.

And that's the game! USA headed to the gold medal game with a 9-1 win against Sweden.

I saw that earlier, pretty funny.

Canada feels they are the more civilized neighbor. More polite, kinder. Not at all boorish.

Yet when it comes to hockey they're gigantic a-holes.

And now that its the Olympics they're being dinks about all the sports.

Anyone know if the US Men will continue to wear the throwbacks the rest of the tournament? Those are 100 times better than what they had before.
You mean the Rangers jerseys?

So, same as England?

Not really. There isn't an arrogance about England sports because they're realists. They let the media get them all hyped up knowing that it will all go to ****.

And England is very boorish. So that doesn't really apply.

Unfortunately I don't think so.

I loved these jerseys when I saw them as well when they debuted the jerseys the US would be wearing for the games.

However, it was a special one time event IIRC that they wore them to honor the 1960 Gold Medal team.

We'll be back to the other jerseys the remainder of the tournament.

I liked the USA thirds so much I ordered a Patty Kane jersey as soon as I saw them. I wanted a Callahan or Kesler but couldn't find either on Ebay.

Besides the US Womens Hockey, kind of a weak day today at the Olympics. Plus we're probably going to lose to Canada tonight in the ice dancing.
