Live, yes; NBC, no
MSNBC
Bronze medal game Thurs 2:00-4:30pm ET
Gold medal game Thurs 6:00-9:00pm ET

Going up against Ladies Figure Skating Finals. Understandable.

You could look at it this way. Canada really is just the 51st state (and even suckier than Mississippi when you think about it), so really you have 2 entries for every sport in the Olympics.

Canada is suckier than Mississippi?

I don't think so. Uh Uh.

If Finland had any offense they'd have a shot in this game with the goaltending their getting.

Booing the Anthem?
When did they do that? Seems like I have been hearing about it forever.

Might have been more if you counted all those who were shut out and would have watched if the game was 1. available with their cable provider 2. live everywhere.

They're referring to the fans at Wrigley booing Oh Canada.

Oh wait.

Canada pulling away. Go Becky! :) :) :)

At select World Junior games, basically anytime a US team plays in Canada for the NHL playoffs. And on and on.

Re: Part IV of the XXIst Winter Olympiad Or All Your Hockey Are Belong to US

Another awesome DGB post.
Here are some of my favorites from it:

Due to communications breakdown, nobody remembered to tell the American hockey team that they're not supposed to be good.

Both Canadian and American women's hockey games have been difficult to follow due to shoddy Vancouver scoreboards which do not have enough space to display triple digits.

Stringent drug testing lead to a scandal in the curling competition, when it was revealed that some teams were falling slightly short of the sport's strict minimum blood-alcohol level.

Re: Part IV of the XXIst Winter Olympiad Or All Your Hockey Are Belong to US

They just said during the US-China curling match that China ran out of time last year during a match-- in the 7th end!!!

Re: Part IV of the XXIst Winter Olympiad Or All Your Hockey Are Belong to US

I switched from curling to NBC quick. It was ice dancing. Wow, that was pathetic, I hope I never have to watch that bs again. I'm back to watching the suck that is Shuster.

Re: Part IV of the XXIst Winter Olympiad Or All Your Hockey Are Belong to US

Whenever you can't hear Shuster, but he's talking, just insert one of the following phrases:

A. Jesus Christ.
B. Sorry, guys.
C. My fault, my fault.
