Looks like it was hot in Massena tonight! Laker with 7 goals in the first period, and pulled Hare after the first as well. That's an outstanding start to the weekend! I did not listen to any of the game, Hare was pulled due to the score and not an injury?

Hare is not injured, no worries. Hare was pulled for 3 reasons.
1. They wanted him well rested for platty tomorrow
2. They don't want to risk him getting injured right before the playoffs if they don't have to
3. Jones didn't get to play on senior night and he deserves a little icetime

Hopefully Oswego can finish the regular season on a high note :-)

That is a really tough question given that tickets are nearly impossible to get. Doesn't quite seem right that Plattsbugh does not set aside any tickets for OSU fans. I think Oswego sets aside a certain number for visitors. I guess they don't want a lot of OSU fans drowning out their fans. Never the less I know of at least two who will be going.

You could have boxed the Great Laker teams in action last and done quite well with your bet; OZ women beat Cortland last night and both m/w basketball teams beat Potsdam.

50 premium seats right behind the Oz bench have been set aside for their loyal fans - see Mr. Ed for yours :cool:

A modest number is set aside for visiting teams (see norm's post), but Platty ticket policies - for non-season ticket holders - are not popular among their own fans, let alone visitors...in that regard, everyone is treated the same...get there early...use the time to make new friends...enjoy the game.

OMG whine whine whine....get in line like the rest of the people like we did for years in Oswego. Oswego never gave tickets to Plattsburgh. Not even for the parents, so talk to someone who cares. There will still be tickets available and some standing room. Once the game starts you can fill in the seats. Sorry not an excuse.....

Players are enjoying a nice Continental breakfast.....they are getting a little more exercise as the elevator has now broke.

Oswego doesn't set aside tickets for visitors, they do have 2 sections that they put visitors in but there are usually just as many Oswego fans in those sections as there are fans from the visiting team. I know when I have called that I've never heard "oh you're from Plattsburgh, well we have seats set aside just for you." Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that I can go online or call and get my tickets early, but it's not like Oswego goes out of it's way to make sure Plattsburgh fans have tickets.

What is it with Plattsburgh hotels when visiting teams come in?

Fire alarms at 3am in consecutive years...elevators broke...

Seems like more than just coincidence ;)

My review of Potsdam's sport broadcast:
1. Great quality video
2. Pretty decent quality of announcers
3. They're the Oswego State Lakers. Not the Oswego State Great Lakers. Not since '03 have they been called that.
4. His name is Jones, not Brown. Jones is the goalie. Brown is a forward.

...other than the tripod not being 360 degrees level , I thought it was the best single camera coverage I have seen...

From where I was seated, I am pretty sure they were "Great" Lakers last night. :D
