Was just wondering about him the other day. Thanks for the link. Good read and hopefully he'll continue to blossom down there in San Antonio. I know he was definitely a crowd favorite in Rochester during his one season there.

Hope he gets his shot to play in "The Show" some day (if they ever get over this pesky lockout). Trivia question, maybe its been asked recently but does anyone know if Oswego has ever had a player play in the NHL. I'm unaware of there ever being one if so.

Norm, where is that old D3 players in the pros thread we used to have or didn't somebody start compiling a list of all Division III players that have ever played in the NHL?

Wasnt there that VERy tall goalie who played at Oz then worked for the capitals who signed the 1 day contract when a few goalies got hurt, warmed up for the game then road the bench for 2 periods or so?? Is that playing?? I believe he also practiced with the team once in a while before that??

this thread is unusually quiet .........2weeks until the U-18's...any idea how they look?? im sure they will come out flyin with a whole bunch of talent

The U-18's look exceptionally young, especially when compared to most college squads. To temper that, most of the team will be playing Division I or CHL hockey next season. :D

Yes young for sure in comparison ...now-a-days most of these frshmen are 21 after playing a few yrs of jr's,ugh I started my senior yr at 21...drop that puck

just a heads up single game tiks go on sale tomorrow at 10am..There also seems to be a new show that will out there somewhere called 24/7,OSU hockey why not us....I'm sure OSUMIKE can give us more info...

24/7 will be a series that puts you behind the scenes with all access to the Lakers this season...its a project created by Oswego senior Scott Glickman, the previous General Manager and Sports Director of student radio station WNYO-FM... (Imagine HBO's Hard Knocks, without swearing, drinking or womanizing...) It will be shown on various video outlets and probably find a home on a YouTube channel.....

Heads up -- Jon Whitelaw and Chris Brown are scheduled to appear on WNYO's "The Sunday Hangover" with myself and Taylor Pugliese tomorrow at 1:30 PM. Show is 12-2.
