Re: Oswego State 2010 Off-Season Thread: "Say it Ain't so Neil"

bakdraft, I'm surprised you can actually get on the internet let alone actually sign up and post on a message board.... lets not push the computer skills to much!!! :D :p ;)

Re: Oswego State 2010 Off-Season Thread: "Say it Ain't so Neil"

I doubt Tim Hale would let me sneak a vuvuzela into the Campus Center. :D

Re: Oswego State 2010 Off-Season Thread: "Say it Ain't so Neil"

So aside from Domenico and Courvette, is there any word on any other folks that have committed to Oswego? And if anyone has any word on the schedule for this year?

David Titanic, forward, is coming in too.

76 points for Markham I believe in the CJHL.

I think vuvuzelas vs. Plattsburgh would be awesome. You probably couldn't bring em to the All North Country Ice Hockey Rink (because Plattsburgh fans make Stafford like Wimbledon) because wouldn't be able to enjoy their finger food while watching the game in peace.

in case you've never been to the Stafford in years past, we used to have a couple horns a lot like those..... however, the new "administration" won't allow us to have them anymore cause the "older" people would have to turn down their hearing aides......;)

So you've got guys named Courvette and Titanic coming in? Nice. :D

I have been to Stafford and I remember Remy and his horn. (How can anyone forget it. :D) The old people shouldn't be treating a hockey game like a tennis or cricket match. The CC may not have the atmosphere of Romney, but I love that the students actually are allowed to cheer and chant.

Granted there was one email sent out by administration this year regarding student conduct at hockey games.

That is definitely something that Oswego has going for it compared to Plattsburgh. Plattsburgh has been getting more and more students to the games but they don't compare to Oswego or some other schools.

Can't you clap. chant etc. Whoever invented those things should be locked in a room with them for a month. The worst noisemaking invention ever.

Going by just numbers I don't know if you can beat Oswego's 1,000 students at every game. Hockey knowledge however...the student section rates around the C range.

It's improved a little bit...but still people come to the games because its the thing to do and be seen there rather than watch the games.

While that's somewhat true, I do see a good chunk of the student section cheering clears and smart hockey plays. Some people go just because, but I'd rather have a full student section than some of the SUNY schools that could care less or the All North Country Ice Hockey and Curling Club atmosphere.

The students are automatons now. Chant three times then silence. F-cking ridiculous.
