Dormo and Moodie got hurt in the Adrian game.

Rodrigues was hurt awhile ago I think.

I think the Whiteout was impressive the first year... granted, that was my freshman year, meaning I never had the opportunity or the pleasure to witness a game in Romney or a bagel throwing. However, I think the Whiteout is really awful now. I think if we're going to switch colors we should make it a Blackout... although without black alternates this year that would be kind of hard. Too bad they got new road sweaters instead of alternates.

I stand by my suggestion in trying a Green-out, if they decided to do it at all.

Sponsorship opportunity - Greene's Ale House could sponsor a Greene-out!! Someone who does sales for the school - get on that!

Without a doubt, an excellent night. It didn't seem the Lakers were putting in as many over the break, but tonight...rang in the New Year wih style. The Buffalo goalie crew has got to be a tad upset - 50 SOG and a few just trickled right in. Fredonia tomorrow - hope it's just as good:D .

Fredonia played the Lakers very tough earlier this year at Steele Hall.

They are a team that usually gives Oswego good games and I think tonight should be a dandy at the CC.

The Blue Devils are very hot winning eight straight games and 11 of their last 12. Granted their schedule hasn't been overly taxing but if fans or the players come into tonight thinking Oswego will roll, they are gravely mistaken.

Oswego trailed Fredonia in the third period until the Lakers scored four unanswered to end the game to take it 7-4 last timeout.

Judging from their stats, it looks like they have two very good lines and then a significant drop off after that. Muscatello, Morton, Oye, Hehr, Ross, Rizer can all play.

Oswego is undefeated at home this year and for the most part have dominated teams. Fredonia is facing a tall order but it does help that the students are still on break for the most part so they won't have to deal with 1000 strong students giving them hell.

I wouldnt be surprised if Fredonia won tonight or atleast took a point, but I'll say Lakers take it 6-3.

I believe Fredonia has three strong lines

Muscatello, Morton, and Aonso
Oye, Hehr, and Kulikoski
Ross, Rizer, and Mueller

I think the final score will be 4 - 3 for the pesky Devils

It was a very good, tight hockey game, totally different than last night- as expected. Fredonia played very well, kept Oswego off the scoreboard until into the second period. Oswego's first two were on power plays. One of the refs took a hard Fredionia clearing shot to the cheek late in the second. After a long delay getting him repaired they postponed the last five minutes of the second and played it after cleaning the ice and before the third.

Although the score- and the shots- were close, Oswego had most of the quality chances and appeared to have the edge. Most of the game was played in the Fredonia end.

No Fox tonight, I heard he was a little sore in the upper body from last night and was being rested up for next weekend.

Hats off to the Blue Devils- two quality teams on the ice tonight.

Pretty fun hockey game for a more defensive, less wide-open contest. Oswego indeed controlled most of the play but Fredonia definitely hung around and didn't make it easy.

Oswego is just doing everything right ... this team is really exciting to watch and it will be interesting to see them play Plattsburgh this weekend

1690+ for both games on the weekend. Better than most places when school is in session. Can't wait to get back to the CC. I know it pales in comparison to Romeny, but it's still a fun place to watch a game and something I have missed very much since graduating.

I hear ya played 3 seasons at Romney but have yet to see the CC, will be there for the big weekend coming up, cannot wait..........

Rumor last night at cc was that Fox, VanBoxmeer and Moody all are out with separated shoulder's. Can anyone confirm or deny this???

not sure, but this is a VERY common hockey injury, had 2 myself...also depends on the degree, 1 2, or 3 whether they can play or not.....hopefully just a 1 and then its just grin and beeeeer it

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that Fox finished the game Fri. night. Must be grin and bear it for him. The other 2 not sure. I don't think that Moody has played since getting hurt in the Adrian game.
