Re: Oswego State 2009-10 Regular Season Thread

Also, a note on the officiating which I also think could've been a lot better. Hobart was obviously playing very chippy and physical and the referees had many chances to stop it and elected not to. Seeing that the refs would be no help the Lakers started hitting back and they are the ones that penalized. I think something needed to be done sooner and again in the future because things could have gotten wildly out of hand.

I thought so too from the press box but then we looked at the replay which clearly showed it SOMEHOW got through both Moodie and Whitelaw... seeing Whitey's face also clearly told me that it was Gilly's goal.

I was actually standing right behind that goal next to the goal judge. Hit right off of Whitelaw's lower back. Stop calling him Whitey! This is Whitey:

I agree... but when I do for an interview and Dormo asks me who I'm looking for and I say Jon and he yells "Whitey!" it's kinda hard to ignore

Re: Oswego State 2009-10 Regular Season Thread

when the we (student section) would boo them when they came out onto the ice he would have this big ****ing chagrin on his face

Just so long as you jokers continue to chide fatty Baldwin about how he'll be late for making the donuts you're OK, poor word usage aside.

Re: Oswego State 2009-10 Regular Season Thread

Dormo will pay dearly.

Dormo has the most rings out of any Oswego State hockey player, past or current with two.

He was the MVP of the Ice Biscuits broomball team in Spring '09 leading them to the Co-Rec Broomball title and scoring the game winning goal in overtime of the championship game.

I think he tied for the team lead with some Dunning kid. Oh yeah, Brendan "butter" McLaughlin played too...he was an assist machine. You want to see funny...watch the Midge run on ice without skates:cool:

He can say what he wants:cool:

Re: Oswego State 2009-10 Regular Season Thread

Does anyone have an update on the Ryan Woodward situation? Is he still with the team?

He was not at the Oswego/Utica last Tuesday. That's all i know.

I doubt we're going to hear much about it on here (rightfully so?) unless the Pall-Times covers the story, which it looks like they haven't picked it up since he was arrested and posted bail.

He had a court date that Friday and we haven't heard anything since.

How can I get tickets for the 1/2 - 1/3 tournament games ? A phone number is shown on USCHO but as of yet I've had no luck.I would hate to drive up and find out I couldn't get in. Can someone help ??

the campus center seats 3,000... students aren't in town because its winter break... i would be very surprised if either game was a sell out. Although, I have never been to a Pathfinder game so I don't know how crowded they typically are.

Re: Oswego State 2009-10 Regular Season Thread

I've gone to a Pathfinder game every year for the last three years and the place is pretty dead. You have a handful of locals, and friends/family of the visiting teams but that's about it. I don't think there was more than 400 people last time I went. Getting tickets at the gate should be no problem.

Re: Oswego State 2009-10 Regular Season Thread

In the Oswego game you'll probably see around 1500 people or so. Just take the attendance so far and take away 1000 and that's a rough estimate of how many people will show up for the Oswego games during the Pathfinder.

That tournament could have Oswego, Plattsburgh, Elmira, and Geneseo and it'd still be tough to sell it out without the students there.

There were 1700+ for both Oswego games last year. Did you not stay for those?
