He didn't get a point on Mallaro's goal, but he was on the ice for all 5.

Did a little research and noticed that Oswego has held the lead after the first period in only 5 of their 14 games this year. For many of their wins, this team's talent takes over, but this team has to come out of the locker stronger when they play teams with as much, or more talent than they have. I know you can make the argument that inferior teams come out of the gate with alot more emotion knowing they are playing an elite team, but that can't be used an excuse....

Gosek is the next Bellichick. He lulls teams into a false sense of security in the first period, then knocks them in the teeth the rest of the game. It's all planned. Really, who wants a lead after 1 anyways? :D

Ahh, one of the referees was Andy Petrus. He works D-I games as a linesman in the ECAC. This explains everything.

Oswego only has three more road games left this season, morrisville, brockport, and geneseo.

I know home ice tends not to count for a ton at this level, but that's pretty nice regardless, especially with Adrian, Plattsburgh, and potentially Elmira still to come.

Did the research come from here?

Note, I can not confirm it is accurate, as Plattsburgh's is not (the Cardinals are 6-1-1 conference, 7-1-2 overall NOT 5-2-1 & 6-2-2).

Yeah but the ref who seemed to be in the "Spotlight" for most of the calls was Everett I believe. Oh and why did he keep taking his helmet off?

Cool, note one area I see on the Oswego page that is in error, is the Shots by Period, note it shows Oswego as taking 165 shots in OT (actually their shots taken in the third).

I thought so too from the press box but then we looked at the replay which clearly showed it SOMEHOW got through both Moodie and Whitelaw... seeing Whitey's face also clearly told me that it was Gilly's goal.

Wrong... and right... we watched the PoE video in Gosek's class this year. Facemasking/facewashing was a point of emphasis, spraying the goalie was not.
