Plus Oswego would probably have to travel to Cornell, RIT, Clarkson etc. and that doesn't fit into the idea of having as many home games as possible.
Did not bother NU in the least. We'll travel 50 miles down I-89 for that one.

Good for NU but Laker hockey is a cash cow for Oswego State (it's only one as far as sports are concerned) and the idea of them trading 3,000 fannies in their seats for a trip down to Cornell or up to Clarkson is probably not all that appealing. If one of those teams was willing to compensate them for the effort then I am sure they would consider it.

I hear the CASH thing, but I do remeber when i was at Oz 84-87 we played Clarkson, but then again we didnt have the campus center that draws in the fannies/$$$.......to bad
There also wasnt the same restrictions on games and the NCAA tournament was picked differently back then.
Of course, you remember all that so well![]()
10-4... Dont even think Prez was a glimmer in the oldmans eye yet......;-)
