Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

#1 - nobody ever came near enough to even prompt wayne to fall.

Anybody that came close to even looking at Wayne funny was promptly dealt with. Then again, they didn't exactly play as much defense like they did back in Wayne's Era.

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

It seems like Canada is either not playing well or Slovakia doesn't feel like getting dominated like every other team that plays Canada. I just feel like Canada should be winning by more than they are. If they play like this against USA, they can hand USA their gold medals. This is a boring game.

 stop being a hater!

admit it. Sid is great.:D

I love Cros. And I love Ovie. It's tough lol

Although, did anyone hear the interview with Ovie before the Canada/Russia game the other night? He was asked who he thought the best player in the world is. He argued with himself for a while before saying "I guess that'd be me" lol

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

What did he say??

He got DQd from the 500m because his trying to pass caused one of the Canadians to crash. He was interviewed after and disagreed with the DQ call: "I don't know why they would DQ me, I was in 4th the entire race." That is, until the Canadian guy crashed because of him and the Korean fell because, well, he's Korean and that's apparently what they do. Anyway, he went on to say, something about the "Canadian refs, on Canadian soil".

I'm sure the replay of the race will be on nbcolympics.com. From what I saw, I think the DQ was justified, and he very much doesn't.

Ohno put his hand on him, by the rules that's a DQ. That said- his hand being on him really had little impact on the Canadian, and to me it looked like he went down way too easy and took a dive.

I thought the Canadian dived. He realized that Apolo was going by and he'd be in fourth, felt the touch and bit it.

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

A Canadian...dive? That's unpossible!

Didn't the guy who won also put his hand on a guy in the same race?

Different rules for different folks. :D
