Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

Koivu with about 3 extra pokes at Miller after the whistle and Erik Johnson shoves him in the back of the head.

Olcyk thinks you slash with your hand. Haha. Sigh.

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

Edzo made a good point. Does this laugher help or hurt going into Sunday?

I don't think it hurts. They played Canada, and they watched Canada dismantle Russia. I like this team. They went with a youth movement and the kids are playing hungry.

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

So we sent in a Vezina winner for mopup:p

Too bad the Finns didn't pick Rask; we could have two Bruins in goal.

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

Hopefully the goaltending change will wake the Americans up. They have looked pretty sluggish as of late.

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

End of the shutout, after a dubious penalty on Erik Johnson, Jack Johnson blocks a shot and deflects it into the net.

Not Thomas' fault.

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

The US team would like to thank GopherBigGuy911 for that.

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

I can hear Prez yelling from the Southern Tier.

As much as I hate him...Not much he could do on that goal.

Like i said...as long as he didn't play in a game that was closer than 5-0...I'd be okay with it.

I actually am kind of glad he got to play for a few minutes. Every olympian deserves his moment. Thomas got his. Good for him.
