Probably more akin to Latvia or Germany taking Finland or the US. Iraq isn't particularly terrible, especially at the U23 level the Olympics are played at, and Brazil has been a mess the last 4 years or so.

Not quite, but close. Iraq has made the World Cup a few times recently, and the men's tournament in the Olympics is a glorified youth tournament: teams are only allowed three over age players. So maybe more like Germany playing Canada to a tie in the world juniors.

Katinka Hosszu is having quite an Olympics.

Lilly King was a boss tonight. I'm so glad she put that doper in her place. At the medal ceremony Efimova looked miserable. When the athletes came together for pictures, King gave Melli a big hug, but barely acknowledged Efimova. Melli didn't acknowledge her at all.

They didn't do it on the field. The protocol has them run out onto the field, quick huddle and go. It's unfortunate because that is always fun to watch.

USA rugby falls to Argentina 17-14....

Watching Rugby has been a pleasant surprise today. Still not 100% sure what's happening, but cool none the less :cool:

US beats Brazil in Rugby. Looks like the US will have to beat Fiji to advance out of pool play.

The US Women also took Gold in Team Gymnastics!

The US women's gymnastics team pulled a Ledecky. They were so far ahead I could have done the final floor routine and they would've won the gold. I'm not kidding.
