It really is all duckies and bunnies with the Yuckeye faithful. Seriously, you don't see the issue where you're saying she signed the 4 freshmen she wanted, all top tier players (4 forwards I believe), on one hand and then brings in, not just 1 or 2, but 4 forward transfers and every on of them top tier players in their own right? Quite the logjam at the top of the lineup and that doesn't even touch the subject of the returning forwards in the lineup.
Unless I have something wrong, I count 17 forwards: four incoming freshmen, five new transfers, and eight returning from last season (and that's taking into account the three who are transferring out). And eight D-players.
I think the 1-0 loss to the Badgers in the championship game is a sticking point for her. She's looking to build a scoring machine to make sure that doesn't happen again.
Just my 2 cents.

You dress 12 and the 4th line gets spot play, if they play at all against UM and UW, so 9 F out of 17 will get real playing time. Seems like Jane wants calamity inside and outside the locker room.
It's about the team, not the individuals. We are known to have no division or resentment in our locker room.
Half of those 17 have not yet become part of "your locker room".

Yes, of course it's all unicorns, rainbows and puppies that don't bark, peep or poop, ever, in Muzzysota. That was before this spring. You can drop a 750 HP engine into a Mustang, but being able to control the power and have it handle sweetly is another story. There's always a balance and a compromise.
I am in shock that every D1 player has not entered into the portal just hoping beyond all hope, that they would be one a the few chosen for the privilege of paying some or most of their own tuition, room and board for being able to practice under Calamity Jane. Playing in an actual game is not important, just the chance wear that practice jersey and to be considered is enough for any player to be completely satisfied with their college hockey experience.
TOSU Hockey: The not so few, The very proud, The Muzzinateds.
It’s all very strange. Some people are leaving what we think are good situations only to get less ice time at the worst rink (with admittedly great fan atmosphere) in college hockey. I think it will be a lot to manage but maybe a nice problem to have.
Rattray has seemingly embraced being the 13th forward for Canada and been the hero of her own role despite being a former Patty Kaz winner. We’ll see if half a dozen forwards on OSU can channel similar energy.
I'd really enjoy an Ohio State - Penn State series!
I can't disagree with your statement , but I've always felt that more effort should be made for Ohio State and Penn State to play each other occasionally both being big Ten schools in their other sports. After four of our top five scorers from last season are gone? Last season would've been a better series.
With the WCHA 23-24 schedule now set, any thoughts on who our non conference opponents should be next season? I'd really enjoy an Ohio State - Penn State series!
The first place I'd look for a guess is to see if OSU "owes" anyone a return trip on a two-year home-and-home contract: OSU goes to Colgate, and/or Cornell comes to Columbus.

Too bad there are no D1 women's ice hockey programs in the state of Michigan. [/B]
Yes, seven D1 men's programs in Michigan but no D1 women's programs. So much for their claim of being The State of Hockey.Too bad there are no D1 women’s ice hockey programs in the state of Michigan. [/B]
