Back to league play next weekend at BG. Getting points out of every weekend is a must to keep ND and Western at bay in the standings. BG is struggling pretty bad at this time but you know they will be fired up to play a in-state rival and highly ranked Buckeye team.

In-state rival or not, we need to plunger rape BG next weekend. The schedule down the stretch is brutal, with four CCHA top six teams plus Michigan and Fredo. A young team like this is going to split (or worse) somewhere down the stretch and needs to pile up the points where it can.

I hear ya on the plunger. The Bucks need nothing worse than a split from here on out to have a chance at the CCHA crown. GO BUCKS.

Think we'll be up to #2 in the Coaches & USCHO polls tomorrow. Both Minnesota & Boston College posted a loss since last week.

Anyone hoping for a little publicity bump from the outdoor game on Jan 15 can put those thoughts aside. CBS just moved the OSU v Indiana basketball rematch to a 4:30 PM start time, half an hour before face off in Cleveland.

CBS had to move the game because they have the 1pm nfl playoff game on that day it sucks because now the hockey game will take a back seat to basketball.

As I thought, OSU up to #2 in the Coach's & USCHO polls today and still #1 in all the power rankings but no updates yet in the INCH which they said would be done yesterday. Minnesota-Duluth still received almost all the first place votes in Coach's & USCHO so imagine them with a loss this coming weekend playing at Western Michigan and a OSU sweep at Bowling Green. For the first time in my life and in the history of our program I could see Ohio State at #1 in all college hockey polls & rankings! I get chills thinking about it. GO BUCKS!! :D

Darn, guess I'll be missing the hoops game (LOL)! For those who are going to the Frozen Diamond Faceoff, there is a pep rally at Tower City at some point before the game. I want to say 2:30 - 3:30 but I'll have to get on the OSU website to confirm that. I am really looking forward to that, but hey, let's take care of Bowling Green first!

Is the FDF on TV in Ohio? I saw FS-Detroit and BTN has women's bball on.... I'll be there, so no worries... But first the bball game and now I'm wondering if OSU didn't set sail on the failboat with this whole game...
