Official XXX Olympics Results - Spoilers Welcome

Re: Official XXX Olympics Results - Spoilers Welcome

Thisjust in to NBC Sports. Rhythmic gymnastics will become an Olympic sport at the 1984 games in Los Angeles

Hey, if NBC thinks it's acceptable to be 6 hours late for result announcements, why not be 6 games late for event announcements!

US Men's gymnast Danell Leyva wins a bronze in the All Around, after being as far back as 17th. Good for him!! And he's way hawt. [/obligatory girl comment]

Re: Official XXX Olympics Results - Spoilers Welcome

American Nathan Adrian wins the men's 100 free by 1/100th of a second. He was 3rd at the turn and looked like he was fading but just outtouched the Aussie for the Gold.

China not going down without a fight.

Match point #2 for the US in women's volleyball.

Took 6 of them, but the US beats China 3-0.

Some American archer just choked. Got a 4 to send it to a shoot-off and then blew that shot too. Beaten by the youngest archer in the field, a 15 year old kid from Moldova.

Seeing as how Slim's dead, Doyle Brunson might be better suited.

USA women's basketball wins their 35th straight game. Have not lost a game in 16 years.

Re: Official XXX Olympics Results - Spoilers Welcome

I'm all for cancelling the basketball teams if that means bringing softball and baseball back. I didn't think basketball was more globally popular than baseball.

And, you'd think with Rio coming up in 2016, that baseball would be one of the showcase sports for South America.

Old Pio: They need to have a return of tug-of-war. And Rugby, Polo, and Lacrosse.

That's impressive. Recall, the US men's team had never lost, ever, until the refs gave the Soviets 3 tries to get the last minute right at Munich.

Really? Where do they play much baseball is South America, other than Venezuela?

They need to bring back shooting with live pigeons. Combined, the two US Gold Medalists in skeet shooting where 247 for 250. Think of the blood and gore! Think of the PETA demonstrations! ;)
