agree,they had a hard nut to crack for sure,I am sure they will land in good spots.

If all these numbers are true it looks like Oswego might finally be getting closer to getting out of the brand new team every four years cycle. If 7 freshmen left, that leaves 12 will be sophomores in that class. Getting closer to a much more manageable class. If another 3 or 4 drop off the next 3 years Eddie will have finally broken the cycle and will be able to recruit equally every offseason.

I would think that would be a better way to go.......looks like we will lose 7 players at the end of this season,probably the right amount of players to recruit/bring in,give or take 1 or 2.each yr.

Joe Davies 5' 10" 175lbs ..Forward..U of Alaska Fairbanks last yr, he will be a soph...9gp 1g 2 a...only goal was OT winner vs Lake Superior...2 yrs in OJHL then 2 more in SJHL,S=Saskatchewan,pretty good jr league,where he was 4th in scoring on 2012-13,with 53gp 27g 29a for 56tps...also led all scorers in the playoffs ..

Thats all 7 recruits, my list in post # 2 is complete,thanks for the updates........Looks like a nice bunch on paper,I like the addition of a 3rd goalie that I think will push the other 2,read he had a D1 offer but who knows what happened.......Nice job by the coaching/scouting staff.........

Great job by the coaching staff. Many of us, and I shoud say most of us are very excited about the upcoming season. By all that is right and holy they should be a very good team. I just hope our fans give the boys a little time to gel. Give them some breathing room to not put alot of pressure on them early in the season. Go Lakers//////////////

pretty good mix of classes still heavy on the Soph's....5 freshmen...15 sophs....5 jrs.....7 seniors.........

unclear at the moment - it sounds like TWCable Sports wants to produce the game - unsure if that will preclude WTOP10 Sports...there is some rumbling about an Oswego student production being done in the House of Newhouse (*****s) so we shall see...When I am on campus for the week of the 10th O'Donnell Media Summit we will sort some of this out...

Yeah - they are getting tired of living in the shadow of SUNY Oswego's School of Communication, Media and the Arts... Professionals With GPA's:D:D:D:D:D:D

It is to bad that Schultz left for I thought he brought an extra element to the ice when he was one it, energy, hustle, and the one player who can and will get under the opposing teams skin.
I think he will be the biggest loss but a great pick up for another team. Lets not hope a SUNYAC Team. It will be another season I hope where the D is the rock for this team. 5 solid D-men with others who would make all other teams in the wings is a tough situation for any coach to have.

Yea I thought Shultz had talent,just couldnt crack the line-up,and the 4th line was the hustle and hittem line,which also put a few in,believe they moved Barton to the PP when Neil went down and he netted vs Platty on the PP.I am sure he will play at another place and do well.
