8 games against the top 40 DI teams (record wise) 0-1-1, 3 shots on goal and a (-5) +/-.... with what Oswego is bringing back I will be surprised if he is in the top 8 forwards in points. Like I said, its not putting the kid down, but this is AIC.......

I am thinking he might play defense as that was where he played in Juniors. Oswego is pretty stacked on D as well with adding Alex D'Oliveira to what they already have.

Perhaps his move to Oz is so he can play D, and have a few people in the stands at the games?? I am sure Remy can get us the stats on the AIC turnout for games. He played D in Jrs and Forward in his fresh yr at AIC,not sure Y?? On the roster we have 9 dmen coming back if you count Willis,but not sure he will be on the ice as stated in this thread b4.Hart and Orser saw limited ice,but played pretty well.D'oliveira and Federow are new and would have to pretty **** good to step into the top 6 of Gert,Rivait,Scott,Johnson,Rags,and King,but as we know with coach G you have to earn your way onto the ice every game/yr.Also we loose Gert and Rivait after this yr....I posted on the AIC thread,and a funny reply was given to my post,check it out,Remy you will get a kick out of it:D

There are more people at the Oz concession stands than are in the AIC stands.

New to thread. Have the Oswego players started "Captain practices" yet. When do they start Real practices?
I heard Witzel transfered to another school, was he the only one that left before graduating? Thanks.

As a newbie, you must use the proper words. The term "Captains practices" is an NCAA no-no. The proper term is "Pink Bunnies with cinnamon rolls".

Come on Joe, you have been around a while, I would expect you to know the proper terminology.

Witzel is now at SUNY-Canton playing for former Laker Trevor Gilligan. Beau Orser appears to be at Laurentian University. As for any others not coming back I really don't know.

those were 2 of the players that I didnt think we would see this yr,but Orser had some good wheels and will do well at Lauretian?? I am sure.I would think there were/are a few more who didnt come back,or they are not lacing them up this yr.We had 33 on the roster last yr,minus 2 for graduation Titanic and Bad HAM, that makes 31,and add the 5 new recruits we know of and that would be 36,ok minus Orser and witzel and we are at 34, who knows ???I would think we dont see Jasmin as he didnt get any ice, and we would have to get a 3rd goalie.

coasttocoast,whatever you do follow Norm1909 links,you will learn a lot....also post'em if you gott'em, you seem to have a little inside info.....I would imagine dryland training started almost immediately after school started, then on the ice soon thereafter.I believe the real NCAA practices can start on Oct 15.

I was dissapointed that Beau left. Jasmin did leave and we now have 7 recruits including a new goalie

OK 55 give us the dirt as you MUST know something...... we have D'Oliveria,Trent D, Mitch H,Dave F,Sean F........that leaves 2 more to make 7 a netminder and a skater.......cough it up:confused:........anybody else leave that is not in the thread?? or just not playing this yr??...ps 7 more recruits without jasmine around makes it 35 .

Jasmin, Beau gone. Manny Gialaadakas has left for a school in Alberta. Rumor has it that Mike Wills is coming back , as you remember he had a bad concussion. Brian Hennesey is gone. Witzel is gone.

Thanks for the info,that would make a total of 9 gone with graduations + 7 newcomers= 32 players as we see it on this thread,we dont know about the last skater?? As for Sawyer the netminder,cchl to nahl to usPhl," had a Division 1 offer as/a article in Jr magazine,didnt say were to?? Also was a teamate of new recruit Davee Ferriera with the Jersey Hitmen....thought Shultz could be a good one ow well,he will surface somewhere I think....also makes 9 dmen if Federow plays back...man the NY football Giants r killin me, like they dont want to win:eek:

Manny, Beau, Shultz, Hennesey, Witzel all had a tough time breaking into that tough lineup. They all will develop into good college hockey players in the right program.
