My schedule just opened up for whiteout weekend,BUT there are only SRO tiks left for this game,and I have the wife and 8yo,if anybody has extra tiks please let me know,worst come to worst Ill stand and balance wife and kid on shoulders:eek:....

It wasn't pretty, but hey got the job done. Apparently a flu bug going through the team and a hard week of practices left many of them tired before the first puck drop.
Herlihey was very good, but I thought Z could easily have been MVP. Naz took it to us in the first period and Z kept us in it.
The Montagna, Hulsef, Herlihey line had 5 of 8 even strength goals, we should be able to put anothe line together that is just as domient, Neil and whoever.
I thought Jackson was very average game 1 but he was better game 2. I think he will be a high energy guy but my iniitial assessment is that he is a head's down player who won't make his linemates better but he will be effective one on one. Just my initial assesment don't shoot me if I'm wrong.
Durocher I thought really struggled, it won't get any easier for him watching from the stands.
Someone mentioned Davies and King. Can you red shirt in Div. 3, do they qualify??

I think as far as scoring it has been pretty spread out,we have guys who last yr lit it up that have not found the back of the net as they did,I think when that happens those players have to get dirty instead,hit those corners and make stuff happen.As for Jackson only 2 games after a layoff from Jr's so he needs time,agree with the Dorocher assesment.Not sure about the redshirt,if guys do it in d3??...Any idea why we used 3 dmen on the 2nd powerplay unit?? also seemed to be trying a different Pk,I just think we need to be more agressive at the blueline and in the dzone on the PK,most players will cough up the puck.

There is no such thing as a "red shirt" in Division III. You can however apply for medical hardship waivers if you meet the criteria of not playing in X number of games or practices etc.

well i think Davis is out for the yr for sure,and not sure what is going on with King?? If they are eligible,then I guess it is up to them,bottomline lets just hope they can get back on the ice and play again,be it this yr or next,not good to end a career on an injury,was happy to see Wills back when we thought he might not play his senior yr.

The problem in D3 hockey is the extra cost for one year of school for the player and their families. Paul Beckwith had been an All American goalie his junior year, and in the first game of his senior season in the first period he blew out his knee and was done for the year. In speaking with his Father, Paul could have received a medical, but the cost for another year of school was very difficult for them.

Awaiting reply to your question.... EDIT: Yes - both games will be produced by WTOP....start time 15 min before puck drop. WNYO will also offer its usual stellar coverage.

AWESOME,will have to get of taking the little one to basketball...its only 1 practice afterall.

On a whim i just bought plane tickets to Rochester from Colorado and got a rental car setup for whiteout weekend, anyone have a line on tickets that aren't SRO, I'd be willing to pay a fair price.

Hey hey get inline,I already posted for 3 tiks,see post 501.....:p...or would you rather have a poor little 8y.o. girl stand all game :eek:..I have yet to hear from any oswego fans about extra tiks,but did get a nibble from PSUCHAMPS...we will all have to wait and see or stand I guess.

That's a tough call if I had a ticket.....8 year old or someone who flew in from Colorado...

I hate to say it, but if you trolled the student line flashing a wad of cash, you could probably find someone who would be happy to watch the game on TV at The Shed and spend your money....

I should know more after the Skidmore game last night. I think OSU2010 has sat with my cousin at a game before, but bak its general admission so I would sit as far away from him with your 8 year old. Sadly I don't think i will hear about the game until Sunday morning. I may have to give in and pay the Internet rate on the boat....

If I can get seats for the wife and daughter,great,if not they will stand and deal with it,my daughter runs around the place anyway.as for me I dont care,I can sit or stand,I would still rather go on the cruise,I remember a few yrs ago when Oswego was in the final four I was going to go but they old Disney cruise thing got in the way.adivise for the cruise,pack your booze in your luggage they dont check it:D,dont carry it on.ok let me know when you know thnks
