When it comes to cheap *** beer I have zero issues with PBR or Miller Lite. When I really want a good beer I look elsewhere.

Tell ya what. Next time you want to drink PBR/Miller Lite/etc, I'll charge you half of what the stores charge for those beers, I'll pee in a cup, and you can drink it. Deal?:D

No thanks. GBP isn't exactly a high end beer.

I wouldn't bur PBR myself but I'd drink it if it's given to me. Miller lite I like and I buy every now and then. It's been an acquired taste.

Live in Wisconsin sometime. We don't have water, it is Miller Lite. ;)

PBR is alright if it's on tap. Out of the bottle, it's a little too funky.

Re: Official Drinking Thread Pt 5: Four Horsemen + Jerry: It's called The Voltron!

I have had PBR once. I was in full blown SENANICANS mode and really couldn't taste anything anymore, and I still thought it tasted awful.

That was me with bud light. Ugh. It was beer buffet at Stub & Herbs and basically the table kept ordering it so I didn't really care since we were all absolutely loaded. Multiple stacks of plastic cups over 3' high. It was the only time I've ever been hung over. Awful morning.

So, I tried the Nordeast when I was home - OC AV had it on tap. It's NBP, but I've had better beers. It would probably be really good ice cold on a hot summer day.

Was a bit on the tipsy side Friday night at my best friend's grad party. Uncle Matt made her some wine (Special Ed Red) that was really good. And there was beer. And shots. And more wine. Good times. :)

I've had PBR a couple times; the only time I thought it tasted even remotely decent was on tap at the Nickel, where it was served in a Mason jar.

Sierra Nevada Summerfest. Slightly malty, sweet and hoppy. A pretty good czech-style pilsner and not overly carbonated. I will definitlely have this one again.

I seem to recall wishing it was slightly hoppier, but otherwise good.

(208):

why do the even put the "Please drink responsibly" on tequila ads? like has anything responsible ever come from tequlia. No. never.

Re: Official Drinking Thread Pt 5: Four Horsemen + Jerry: It's called The Voltron!

What kind of beer should I buy tonight?

Thinking of getting two 6s of stuff I haven't tried, or don't drink very often.

Oh and Miller/AB/Heineken macro products need not apply. :p

Last time I had that it tasted the way you would imagine bug spray to taste. Maybe I had a bad batch?

Is it too early to kick my coffee up a notch?

Yes?

Crap.

Guess you're just not trying hard enough...

:)

No, I have. I've definitely gone over my limit a few times. When I do, I just make a point to drink a **** ton of water before I pass out.

Then when I wake up I find some ridiculously greasy food and consume it (micky d's breakfast is pretty solid, seriously).

No wonder they call it Arrogant Bastard. You have to be a rich Michigan grad to afford it.

Eighteen bucks for a sixer. Went with quantity over quality and scored a twelver of Alaskan Amber for $14 instead.
