I liked Bellagio a lot. First place where I realized that major cities don't sleep, because getting dinner at midnight was totally acceptable and normal.
Caesar's was over-the-top and touristy, even for Vegas (though I had some fantastic fried calamari at Wolfgang Puck's branch there). Mirage was fine, saw Danny Gans there a few years before he died (great show, never heard a Rod Stewart impression that good), and ate at an authentic Chinese place that was very good. Venetian was similar to Caesar's - meh. What little I recall of MGM was that it was vast and a little too "modern"/family oriented. Mandelay was too fake and Tropicana was too old.
Also made our way downtown, and the Nugget was alright. The shopping/walking district was, well...shopping.
