Okay, queuing it up for a refresher viewing for tomorrow while I'm cleaning/organizing the bookshelf and the desk.

Sieve. I actually bought the release of the script. Why? This was before the true internet age, and I wanted to know what book Travolta was reading all the time :o

:p I own the Tarantino script to Natural Born Killers, redeeming quality?

Honestly, White Russians and CO Bulldogs are decent. I just would never order one, or swear by one, because it ranks right along with Vodka/cranberries, Screwdrivers, etc. ;)
pffft, white russians are damm tasty, and strong, I'll drink them anytime. Screwdrivers are only acceptable with breakfast.

I met a recent St. Clooud St. Grad tonight. She was bartending, and happened to be moving tomorrow from there to the cities.

Nice to see that Graphic Design degree put to good use pouring me beer. :D

She told me she grew up there and agreed the only thing to do there was go to the Red Carpet. So I figured it wasn't her fault she had such a poor upbringing, and was nice to her.

It is, and you speak the truth. I love this year's Snowstorm.

Got some Snowstorm today, and it is worth it. Not as bitter as most porters, pretty close to a stout actually (though thinner) but tasty in its own right.

A tried-and-true for me tonight - Great Lakes Brewing Eliot Ness. Really easy drinking lager, but well-balanced and has just the right amount of flavor to make it a good "Thirsty Thursday" beer, or to have with a meal.

I could go for a thirsty Thursday pitcher at the DT, or 4.

I could too, but I had homework, and Flashy never wants to go the the bar. So I am drinking a Leinie's and finishing up my hw now.

Since he's the only person you know in Houghton? ;)

Currently drinking this mead. Yes, it looks obscenely New Age, but it tastes good and has 11.5% ABV. So there. :p

Having to go to the bar by myself never stopped me in Houghton. There was always someone at the DT that I knew, so it wasn't a problem just walking down there. No matter what I'd have someone to drink with.

But enough about Quasi.
Funny. I don't think I've ever said anything more to her than: "maker's coke", "7&7", "a dozen wings" or "I'll have another one". :p

There were several employees that I did go down and chat/drink with: Nagele, Becky, the hot tall blonde waitress, pigtails squeaky voice waitress...for example

I did the same thing in college with Patrick's in St. Peter. There were at least five people I knew well there at any time of any day. It was great.

Yeah I guess, but for me to walk to the DT would take me like half an hour or more, and I always feel bad bugging people for rides. Plus I plan on getting belligerent tomorrow night. :D

Did the same at MT Bear's (RIP) in Hopkins on karoake nights (didn't sing when I went, but it was the same crowd all the time).
