So... I'm on the AV OC e-mail list. Gosh do I wish I could be home this summer to drink the mini tour a few times. *sigh*

The trip to the Southgate OC last night was good. I had a couple of local brews; the Frankenmuth Hefe was very good. The Atwater Block Dirty Blonde was alright. However, I'd have rather had a taste of home.

Due to some personal things that happened within the family, I'm having a nightcap. Without going into detail, I've officially written off a family member (non-blood; but was supported in full until this thing happened; it hurts).

Re: Official Drinking Thread: I'm Having A 6-Pack Attack!: Part The Sixth

I had a pretty good bender a few weeks ago...

June 22, drunk at the Petty concert in St. Paul.
June 23, drunk at the Brewers/Twins game in Milwaukee.
June 24, drunk in Atlantic City, ended up at a 24 hour bar looked up and saw the morning news was on.
June 25, drunk in Freeport, NY(Long Island) went to sleep with the sun up.
June 26, drunk in NYC, went to sleep with the sun up.

That was the end, went to the Twins/Mets game on June 27 and we had to drive back to Philly after that and flew out at 7 AM before spending nine hours in the Detroit airport...

The bartenders in Houghton are finally starting to know me by first name...I think I drink too much...(That's the first step right?)

Yes. And remember, rehab is for quitters.

Ok, honestly, being a regular isn't bad. Being a regular drunk probably is bad.

Amen to both statements

My favorite quote is: "It's not alcoholism until you're out of college"

Being a regular drunk might be expensive, I'll stick to just being a fairly often buzzed customer

I prefer (c) South Park: There's a time and place for everything, and that place is college.

June 24th sounds awesome

Yeah, it was a good time...First time legally drinking in a bar when the morning news came on...

June 24th sounds like my bday a couple years ago after 2 friends and I racked up a $400 bar bill......then after-barred. :o

$400? Ouch, but a good night!

There are a few exceptions like if you're on vacation or celebrating something, whether it's your birthday or Columbus Day.

Or any day ending in Y

Boots will do that to you at times.
Heh, that wasn't even the boot (directly), that was from drinking the following afternoon/night (after already being a bit dehydrated from the night with the boot).

Going to my aunt and uncle's this Saturday, where I'm going to spend all day outside on a deck overlooking a lake. What's a good "all-day" beer? last time I brought Landshark...

Cuervo works for me as an all-day beer. No idea why, but it does.

Michelob Golden Light works too (ask any Gopher fan :D )

Regionally, Schell's and Leinie's are easy to drink all day. Won't make you feel full and don't slam you with that drunk feeling right away like some higher content beers might.
