So she can sell it to BU who can sell it to us? But she couldn't see it to us? And now I'm guessing BU has the exclusive license or something? Can't they use it for the cover of the media guide if it's so epic?

Yes. As I said before, I won't even pretend to understand all the NCAA's merchandising laws.

No. She still owns the copyright. If they wanna do anything else with it (make something other than posters, sell more copies, etc.) they need to pay her more.

That's correct. BU has only secured the rights to the image to produce the posters.

I just tried to purchase using the password in the 9/1 email and the 9/3 email. Neither one worked. Said it was invalid. :mad:

yeah i got the same thing - i think they locked it until tomorrow at noon so none of us would snoop around and screw things up :p

you were able to buy this morning (about when i posted the prices and sections). then right after that someone there flipped the switch off and you could no longer click on the section you wanted and get to the purchase screen.

the best looking seats are in the other side. LF foul line. raised and right against the back wall of the ice. of course though, that's the nu/nc section. BU gots skrewed!!!!:p :p

I got the same thing too... earlier today I got partway in but could not continue after a certain point... we'll see what tomorrow brings!

Although my purchase went through earlier, it looks like It was cancelled and I'll need to buy at 12pm tomorrow. I got this e-mail:
Pre-sales for tickets to the Hockey East doubleheader, which will be held on Friday January 8, 2010 at Fenway Park, begin on Tuesday September 1, 2009 at 12noon. Tickets purchased prior to this pre-sale date have been cancelled and a full refund has been issued to the card used for the original purchase.
