Per Bobbo McKenzie via Twitter: 'After seeing concussion doctors, Pronger won't be playing anytime soon, and I would be surprised to see him play the rest of the season'

I know a lot of people aren't real high on pronger, but absolutely hate hearing that.

Did none of you watch 24/7 last night? Should discussion of this go in the TV thread?? It was really good.

I just watched it. It was awesome! They do such a good job with this series. I really liked it last year with two teams I could give a rats butt about and now that my team is actually in it? I can't get enough of it!

I signed up for HBO just so I could see it (I did that too late last year). Just watched it last night - liked it a lot. Not a huge fan of either team, but John Tortorella is quite entertaining.

Part of the problem is that 90% of the NHL wears their helmet like this.

Seriously, how useful can a helmet be if you have two inches between your chin and chinstrap?

Re: Official 2011-2012 NHL Season Thread: 2 Sedins, No Cup!

Wearing it loose does help dissipate the energy from impact by letting the helmet move around without need the head to move with it.

Of course, if it's too loose, you run the risk of the helmet coming off when you're on your way to the ice.

Mike Milbury gave all hockey fans an early Christmas present by beating up a 12-year-old kid.
