Official 2011-2012 Miami Season Thread Part II: (OH) Yeah!

Re: Official 2011-2012 Miami Season Thread Part II: (OH) Yeah!

Yeah but apparently if basketball had a new 1500 seat venue
then we would be the best mid major everrrrrr.

You guys too!?

We've got a guy that thinks we should take any money and not upgrade Lawson, but add 10,000 seats to Waldo, because averaging 18,000 in a 40,000 seat stadium instead of 30,000 will be the difference in being competitive in the BCS era of football.

We've played a home game?

The roller coaster rolls on.

For anyone who watched the game, was Reichard playing like crap or was it a whole-team issue?

Also: TWO too many men calls in one game? Somebody needs to pull their head out of their ***.

Not sure, but he gave up 4 goals on what 18 shots over the last two periods.

Knapp had given up 2 goals over the last 9 periods....

He wasn't great.

Coleman needs to stop taking dumb penalties. So does Spinell. Totally unnecessary.

I didn't watch the game, but it sure sounded like there was a general lack of focus. Too many penalties and mistakes that we shouldn't be seeing in the second half of the season. I'm also astounded the Reichard was in net. Not saying that he was responsible for the loss, because that was definitely a team effort, but Knapp has been very solid since the break and Rico keeps saying he's going to go with the hot hand... unless there was something off-ice going on, I just don't get it.

Couldn't agree more.

This.

I know it's easy for me to sit in my desk chair and play fantasy-coach, but the more I think about, the more I am confused by the decision to sit Connor and play Cody. If anything, I think it really just makes the situation for next weekend pretty clear.

Good lord, don't get us started with the debacle that was this year's football team. I understand the three head coaches in four years, but Treadwell comes in and takes the defending MAC champs, who were bowl victors and 10-4, and takes us back to 4-8 with virtually the same team. Good times...

You could literally say you were at Yager Stadium with five of your closest friends on most game days.

I checked into this and, according to my source, they don't actually win a trophy...they just get to go to McDonalds and order a large #1.

Victory fries! (for all the youngins, that was before tbe free taco promotion)

speaking of which, bring back the SDS Score-o shootout. I was so close to winning the free flight at the old goggin.

I once won a frozen 8 lb. turkey at the Thanksgiving day'ish Blue Jackets game a number of years ago. It was an SDS Score-o type shootout. I also find it quite ironic that the night's competition was the Anaheim (they were Mighty then) Ducks.

Me and the pops won some up there too, but since they were for giant eagle we just gave them away
