If Brad was a BU goalie or BC it would be reasonable to assume that he would have won several Beanpots and perhaps several National Championships.

Im not saying that Brad wasn't good. In fact, I agree that he is the best goalie ever to play for NU, and you're right he probably would have won a beanpot or Hockey East title if at BU or BC. I'm just saying he never really came up with the one big win. Below I listed all of the major tournament games that Thiessen played in (I excluded holiday tournaments because there are too many variables associated with them). Our composite record was 5-11 with one clinching win (UMass in the HE Quarters last season). We gave up 2.88 goals per and scored 1.94 goals per. You can make the arguement that a better offensive team like BU or BC would have scored more goals and therefore won more games, and I will agree with you. BUT, my point is that we never ran into a win, we never had a hot goalie who just had one game where he played out of his mind. You would think we would have just gotten "lucky" some year. So thats why I'll be happy if Rawlings can have two great games on consecutive Mondays in February this year, regardless of how the season turns out.
