Official 2009-2010 Miami season thread part II: Unfinished Business

Re: Official 2009-2010 Miami season thread part II: Unfinished Business

Never have a group of people been more excited about heading to Detroit lol

I hope Miami brings tons of fans. It only adds to the whole experience. I'll be watching on TV this year.

For only having a group of about 30 nmu students not counting the band. They're pretty **** loud. Nicely done wildcats. Also have to laugh at how we stole michigans section at the Joe

Ha i'll try to get it done. Surprisingly there are very very few students here. And about 15 band members. This place isn't packed at all either and its 8.

Re: Official 2009-2010 Miami season thread part II: Unfinished Business

Im not going to go on a rant, because frankly I am too ****ed off to do so. But one word sums up tonight, Pathetic.

Sadly this team will go one of two ways. Either lay down tomorrow and be one and done in the tourny, or be embarrased and motivated by getting their tails handed to them and prove people wrong.

we will see soon enough, and once again the Mason cup eludes Miami.....

That's it. They'll regroup. And they don't have to "prove people wrong." They are one of the two, if not the best team in the country.

This game meant nothing more than a piece of metal and wood to take to a trophy case. Their goal is that piece of glass and wood April 10th. While I'm disappointed, Michigan had everything to play for, you guys had nothing to play for really. You're still a #1 seed who'll be playing in Ft. Wayne.

Get it done.

get bent troll....

enjoy the golf course and your crap hole program while watching us in the National tourny..

You're a brave little punk when you can hide on the other end of the web aren't you? Your team got their butts kicked and you can't even exhibit a shred of dignity about it. You can mouth off all you want but you're being laughed at! :p LOL!!!!

Then why didn't Notre Dame feel that way in the 2007 and 2009 CCHA Championship Finals when they won against Michigan?

Thanks bud, I agree. But they did have this as one of their goals and it is dissapointing.

After taking a deep breath and looking at things. As surprising as it is, IF Miami can win tomorrow and Denver loses to Wisconsin. Miami would sneak into the #1 overal seed. Even with a loss they can't go any lower than #2 overall. Could be what this team needed to maybe get re-foucsed like what happened to them last year.

Michigan win's tomorrow there would be 5 CCHA teams, albeit if Union or Maine don't crash the party too.

Re: Official 2009-2010 Miami season thread part II: Unfinished Business

Well I'm ****ed but I think a loss is good, if we go into the NCAA with the Mason Cup then we'll probably play like we did tonight. Hopefully Michigan gets beat tomorrow cause as of now I'm rooting for NMU!

I don't think we'll be seeing Reichard anymore, that fourth goal was horrendous...I was even surprised to see him tonight. But i guess since he was nominated for the Hobey, Rico thought it was a good idea to play him.

I hated the announcers I finally had to put the game on mute because I could not stand what the announcers were saying anymore. Like pronouncing Wideman's name wrong? Really? I thought his name was pretty self explanitory. And when they compared Hunwick to Lerg I wanted to barf. Give me a ******** break!

So let's go hawks! And I still hate Michigan!

Now you know why Ohio State fans at the anouncement of one minute left in the period all yell " And Michigan still s**ks!" I thought the officiating was very inconsistant. They'd call one thing and let ten others go. I think Miami should have had 2 penalty shots but only got the standard power play. I wasn't surprised as I knew Wilkins would favor Michigan.

You must be thinking of the 5th goal, the one tipped through the 5 hole. Only soft one he gave up all night. The other 4 he was hung out to dry. The 4th goal two guys were left back door not his fault. Cody has been your defacto #1 all year so not surprised at all to see him out there. It had nothing to do with him being nominated for the hobey at all, it has a lot to do with the fact that he has been extremely solid all year. However I think his confidence is shot and its time to give knapp the reigns.

I second the fact that the announcers was brutal. Beezer sounded like he hadn't seen Miami play all year.
