I lambasted a lot of things about Bush, but you're right on this one. I sat aside because I think his intelligence was always "misunderestimated" because of his manner of drawl (which is in itself an interesting commentary on perceptions of intelligence and Texas, the East Coast, etc). Not sure what the relevant point is, though. I'm interested in watching these guys squirm about what we're allowed to read and what we mustn't.

The obvious place where Obama's idiocy exceeds his predecessor is in the somewhat subjective area of "leadership"... in firing men's hearts to follow.

In fact, Barry followed up on offense by saying he was "proud" of Hoffa for making the threats. I should probably note that the war, army, march, and death metaphors don't bother me; but I find the hypocrisy of the liberals amusing... the ones who fly into a spit-foaming rage whenever they think a conservative might be thinking in terms related to a representation of violence.

Ah, it's Labor Day, and union goonery is the order of the day. Here's a guy whose father turned the Teamsters into a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mafia, yammering about taking out "sob's." A statement which, if uttered by someone else, would generate the vapors from coast to coast. And cause heads to explode around here. Jimmy Jr. is just another union goon, shooting off his mouth like union goons are prone to do. Although occasionally union goons do resort to murder (Tony Boyle), I think in this case "Jr." is just venting and setting the classy tone we'll see next year.
