I hear you...and should have put a wink after my question...I have a pretty good idea where you stand but do think some of the language you've used is stronger than 'pretty close to appropriate' when it comes to the rich and taxes.
We all 'save' on taxes by taking deductions etc...it isn't just the rich. When 40+% pay no net taxes, some are saving a much higher percentage than others. Should Bill Gates pay another $10million in taxes or could 1 million people paying no net taxes each pay $10. I personally don't think it makes sense that 40% contribute no net taxes. I don't think 40% of the population is in such a state that they can't afford to pay net taxes.
I don't disagree with your last paragraph and realize that we ALL fall into that mode(s) periodically.

Did you forgot to mention that the White House also got burned, as did the NAACP? You mention only Fox which is kind of dubious on your part, after all Sherrod named the names of the White House Staffers who called her and told her to resign.

I don't understand the demonization of Fox on this one. They reported the story, same as CNN and MSNBC. Breitbart appears on Fox occasionally but he doesn't work for them.
I mean, I understand the demonization, I just don't understand what fake rationale they're using for it in this case.

This is the problem with Bloggers, people take that nonsense as real journalism. Huffington Post, Drudge Report, etc. they all abuse their readership.
However, dxmnkd316 chose to call out only Fox as the perpretrator in this case; when the White House called Sherrod and demanded her resignation without knowing the facts.
I think Eric Holder had his famous race speech wrong, I think Holder meant to say that. "... President Obama is a coward when it comes to race relations."
Them Cambridge cops is all stupid... hopefully them stupid police unions will remember Obama's rant come election time.

Howard Dean claimed over the weekend that the Sherrod video was "about to appear on Glenn Beck", and that's why she was fired, hence why Fox gets the blame despite not airing the video until after the White House fired her.

If you follow the flow of what I wrote, you'd know that it doesn't matter what my take on the WH or NAACP was.
I said, fox news is foaming at the mouth over the story about the WH approving the Lockerbie bomber's release. But since they got burned on the Shirley Sherrod case (along with whomever else you partisans want to throw in) they might be willing to hold back. Just like the news organizations who screamed Gore from the top of the mountains back in 2000 only to eat a whole platter of their words.

Just like last year's racial mess, Obama ends up looking like a horses arse because he did not know all the facts.
My point is, any idiot can create a blog; however, the general public and media ned show better judgement when it comes to blogs... even if there is a video attached. Make that especially if there is a video attached!
