Obama XI: Turn And Face The Strange

Re: Obama XI: Turn And Face The Strange

Your question was insincere. Nobody who follows politics to the extent that you do seriously needs a response.

I didn't ask a question.

You were just being a d---, fishing for a Todd Patten-esque essay response to mock.

I don't need a Toad-esque essay to mock what I find ridiculous.

If there's evidence, provide it. I mean, I understand that "Bush is evil" is the meme, it just usually doesn't get beyond that without escalating into Rover-esque conspiracy theories.

Re: Obama XI: Turn And Face The Strange

ACORN gets a couple billion as well.....you know, for the good work during the election, er, census-taking contract.

Please show me where ACORN got a couple of billion from the Obama administration.

My sincerest apologies......"attempted to kick a couple billion to ACORN."

Gee, that makes it so much better. ACORN* got caught, and yet liberals still turn a blind eye to his ties to the organization that supplied the foot soldiers to "get out the vote".

* Also see: fraudulent voter registration; fraudulent mortgage consulting.

Can you explain where Obama fits in to the article? I read it quickly and didn't see him at issue.

Ol' Boy Banker was participating in questionable lending to Rezko, and also donated to Obama's campaign. He's also running for Obama's former Senate seat and is part and parcel to the Chicago political machine that produced the sitting POTUS.

Sorry, didn't think I had to spell it out.......the article seemed to do that pretty well.

Kepler and Watcher, a al their Messiah, spoke of nothing but change 24 months ago, but now can't get out of the past.

Can we hold an anti-hypocrisy election and vote them off the board in '12?

I'm not sure it's warranted to distinguish between Illinois today and any other time. :p

There certainly are places where political corruption is legendarily entrenched: Chicago, Philly, Boston, Texas, Orange County, Nassau County. And Louisiana has made it an art form, we'll hear all about that if Jindal ever makes a national run.

It's a time-honored game to plaster a politician who came out of a political environment with its, shall we say, peculiar institutions. Al D'Amato was what he was in some measure because of where he learned the trade. The question is: what's Obama's real provenance? I'd say that far from being one of The Chicago Boys, he's another intellectual off the Harvard Law Review assembly line. He has more in common with Richard Rorty than Richard Daley.

Tell me, since you seem to know so much about ACORN, how much money have they received from the Federal Government since they became an organization?

If Jindal does run, I expect to hear nothing from you on the subject considering your complete lack of criticism for Obama's questionable ties.

Note: hardball framing only works when you control the mic and can cut the other guy off like talk radio. Watch. Call me after you've exonerated Bush from all the 401 scandals listed in the prior link.

That blade cuts both ways.

Oh, I see. I have to justify alleged Bush wrongdoings in order for to be able to criticize Obama. I've been a critic of the Bush Administration on several different fronts......not that it should matter when questioning the corruption that admittedly exists within the Obama White House.

And I'll have to keep in mind that blogs are now admissible as fact in political debate/discussion. Speak your own mind and stop parroting some liberal conspiracy theorist with far too much time on their hands.

How many scandals does Obama have so far?

Duh. "Bush did it too" is an acceptable comeback for any Messianic criticism as well, even if you criticized Bush for it and even if The One campaigned on a platform of being the anti-Bush.

He believes every single one of those "scandals," most of which are loony-tunes Rover-esque conspiracy theories, just like I said they'd be. :D

I mean, seriously, they're no better than the birfers they (and I) despise so intensely.

Not sure about the corruption but I didn't vote for him mostly because I didn't think he had the experience nor the vetting to the do the job. Both of those have proven true in my mind.

The problem with Bush is it is going to take about 4 Presidencies to overcome what he created. Of all the President's since LBJ he had the least amount on his plate to start with and left the biggest mess. Quite an accomplishment.
