If Obama had done that his support would be somewhere between Mussolini and that guy who first thought that throwing rocks off an interstate overpass was a swell idea.

Imagine if Bush HAD said it: Mathews, Olbermann and the very feminine Maddow would have had a group grope lasting for days. Snarky commentary all over the left side of the blogosphere and Letterman would have done a top ten on it. However, I'm guessing none of those people will have a word to say about this. At least not a critical word directed at the president. There may be some criicism of those who point out Obama's gaffe.

Our president is a Harvard trained lawyer, professor of law at Harvard and he can't properly pronounce the word "corps?" Give me a break. Then give me a Kit Kat. Maybe he's not the smartest kid in the class after all.

The market fell today mostly because of fear that the PIIGS (Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain) economies are in deeper borrowing trouble than even we are:eek:

Just wondering about your feelings about Bush propping up his feet on furniture in the Oval Office. You never voiced your faux outrage over something that doesn't matter at all. :p

As if the president doesn't have enough on his plate, now we have the newly nominated Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor in Illinois apparantly involved with a "massage" therapist and domestic abuse reports on his wife involving a knife. The now former wife rushes to his defense claiming well, yes, we had some problems, but HE WAS TAKING STEROIDS AT THE TIME and now he's all better. What a relief.

I'm from the Chicago 'burbs and grew up with the first Mayor Daley, and as George Will once said: "Chicago politics, like Chicago baseball isn't for the squeamishl." :eek: :confused: :( :o

And to "discover" that it's the acceptable pronunciation among certain people, thus "proving" that the president isn't a moron--we are RACISTS for not realizing the depth of his wisdom and knowledge, and for his reaching out to suffering 3rd world peoples. :rolleyes:
